I bought these as a high-protein, minimal-ingredient treat option and they’ve been a big hit right away. Ingredients & quality: These are truly single-ingredient treats—just freeze-dried whole minnows, nothing added. You can tell the quality is high based on the smell (strong fish scent, which cats love) and the intact whole-fish appearance. No fillers, grains, or artificial ingredients. Palatability: Every cat I’ve tried these with reacts immediately. Even picky eaters show strong interest, and they’re especially useful as a high-value reward or food topper. The crunch factor seems to make them more engaging than softer treats. Nutrition & use: Because they’re freeze-dried and protein-dense, a little goes a long way. I gave my 2 cats this for the first time last week. At first they were very sceptical of the treats as they’ve never had them before but both of them LOVED it after staring at it for a bit. I am going to cut each treat in 2 from now on though (there are not a lot in the packaging) to try to make them last longer. This is not a big deal at all considering how big the treats are. I WILL be purchasing this again.
