'Old school' taps.
Beautiful looking taps. They really do feel like they are good quality. Just keep in mind that these do not have the quarter turn ceramic discs and this too, is why they were purchased.

Taps do not turn on in the same direction
Very disappointed with these taps.Purchased them for the wash basin in my loo.Was something strange about it. When you turn on the tap it’s normal to turn the taps towards you from via the top of the tap.I have purchased side style taps before and never had any issues.In fact I am using a different set of Bristan taps in my bathroom which turn on and off with no problem.However, the colonial taps turn on and off in different directions. One side turns on toward you. The other side turns on away from you.I have taken this up with Bristan, Louise advises me that there isn’t a set way that a tap should turn.Not very helpful I thought.Bristan’s customer service is very poor.

Refunded
Item turned out to be very old stock from 4/5 years ago with a faulty design which has since been superceeded. I obtain a full refund immediately and purchased another model instead. Hence 1 star for the product (becaused it looked nice on the outside) but recommend the supplier for resolving the situaion quickly.
