Lifepac Bible 4th Grade

This is very well put together. I use it with my daughters online home school program.

Far from top-notch but we like that we can give our son a LifePac and he'll do a bible reading and corresponding activity in the LifePac. Many of the activities are time consuming, not valuable or necessary for the intended outcome, etc. so we allow him to focus on the reading and the enjoyable activities such as word finds, crossword puzzles, message decoding, etc. The goal, for us, with LifePac was for him to have something he could manage on his own, a tool that would get him in the scriptures INDEPENDENTLY each day, with a fun follow-up activity. He enjoys finding the assigned scripture passage, reading it, moving on to another one, etc.. He does plenty of writing in his other courses so to add that to what we want to be fellowship and growing time with God seemed unnecessary and actually counterproductive. We purchased this "used" so got it at a great price and with only a few stray marks in just one of the 10 LifePac books. We would not consider paying more than $30 for this particular LifePac set. Other LifePacs at various grade levels and content areas vary considerably so we do not judge other LifePacs on just one.

I ordered these for my 4th grade kiddo and we both enjoy this curriculum. It comes with 10 workbooks and a teachers guide that is very helpful. For the most part she can do this independently. This curriculum seems (we are on workbook 1 - also annotated as 401) to have a good mix of work typical fill in workbook items, puzzles, and reports. An example: She had to do a book report on a 20th Century follower of Christ. I love that she has to look things up (bible verses, names of the 12 disciples, etc) making her more familiar with the Bible.

This is the best curriculum for teaching the Bible to homeschoolers I have seen. We use it every day. I do not particularly care for the grammar lessons Lifepac includes in the book, but love the materials! I intend to use this product every year! I always purchase my materials throuogh Amazon.
