Well thought out and good examples
I purchased this book on recommendation from a friend who knew I was setting up a new business and a new website whilst looking to learn about Social Media. I see a 1 Star comment from someone who obviously has a lot of knowledge, but if you are a novice/amateur and are looking to learn more about all aspects of online marketing with good real life and hypothetical examples then this is the book for you. I found it easy to read, well structured and interesting without too much technical jargon. A must read!

Watch out for fake reviews
The positive reviews on amazon influenced my decision to purchase this book. I regret buying this book. The authors did a good job promoting it on Amazon, i.e. 31 five star reviews is rare and unusual (that was the rating at the time of purchase).The book is far from being perfect, high level and it offers very little original content. There are also some misleading statements, such as:"The important thing to remember is that using social media is absolutely FREE and can take very little of your time if done intelligently." OR "The great thing about online marketing is that much of it is free".When was the last time you managed to run a free online marketing campaign?This comment in relation to the bounce rate metric is also wrong. "Generally speaking, the lower this is, the better - anything between 30% and 60% is acceptable". Anyone who has been involved in any conversion optimisation knows that bounce rate is only useful if it's reviewed in a certain context. 70% bounce rate could sometimes mean success too.Overall, I do not recommend this book you can find more informative and free content online.

Fantastic resource for Digital Marketers
After attending a seminar that David Miles ran, I bought this book. It is a really down-to-earth way to approaching digital marketing.Obviously, this sector is changing constantly but this book covers how to use PPC, SEO, social media to your business' advantage, and gives diverse case studies.I have dipped in and out of this book for regular inspiration and would recommend it to others who are getting into (or already in) digital marketing.

A glimpse into the future
The first two chapters of this book give a very clear and probably correct explanation of the future of many businesses over the next 20 years.It should be required reading for prospective, as well as present executives, as a call to action for their company.The next six chapters can be used to create a road map for the company's future development.The final four chapters explain how the present marketing tools can be used.In all an excellent exposition of how to proceed in marketing online.

Does what it says on the cover
Having been told by several marketing gurus over the past 12 months that I MUST do Social Media properly, this is a great book. I had done a couple of Introduction to Social Media courses, both of which had been very good and helpful, but a day of training by David TAYLOR as well as reading his book has opened up Social Media in a totally new way for me and stimulated my thinking about how to market my business. I have a lot of work to do but the book is full of sensible and practical advice. If you can get on one of David's training courses - even better.

Great explanation from someone who does it for real
This little book is just packed with really solid up to date knowledge - there is so much hot air about social media at the moment and if you want to know what to do to really make a difference to your bottom line then this is it. No hot air and guff just sensible practical advice on how to build your business and increase sales.

A brilliant read for anyone who is starting out in 'the new way of marketing' or even a expert wanting to expand their knowledge further. For me i brought this book to look at increasing my website traffic via PPC, and after reading this book i managed to get 10/10 on Google Adwords Quality Score! Orginally only scoring around 5/10.A Great Read, well worth the price.

Clear and Comprehensive
Fusion: The New Way of Marketing presents a clear and comprehensive understanding of how the various types of social media function as individual services and a unified whole. Having had the privilege of attending one of David Taylor's training sessions, I can assure you that he just as dynamic and engaging in person as in the book. With breadth and depth, Taylor explains everything businesses and non-profit organizations need to know about social media in a direct and concise format.
