Fantastic Beasts – Newt’s Light Painting Wand – Award Winner!

I have Hermiones version of this wand and I it is pretty fragile, Hermiones version is cracked but still usable. I needed Newts wand to add to my collection and this was the cheapest one I could find. Mine is for display and picture purposes only. If you buy this for your child I would definitely supervise them with it as it can break easily. But it is still a very beautiful replica of Newts wand and I love it.

It's a great wand. It has its own weight. It has a bright led light. I can even use it as a flashlight.

Got first wand and it was obviously not new, as it had a chip and glue where an attempt at a repair was made.Got a replacement very quickly but when we tried to put battery in broke.The piece is not well made or sturdy enough for a child to play with.I am seeking a refund.

The wand looks better in real life to me. In the photo, it looks lighter than it is, which is good. I whad the "Harry Potter" version of this wand previously. It was good looking as well but was lost at Islands of Adventure a couple months back. I liked the price of this wand and I knew what to expect for performance. Right after I ordered it, a new Fantastic Beast Trailer was released. I feel like I got lucky and got a nice wand at a good price. There was one small issue and a possible future issue. When I first got the wand, it didn't seem to light. After messing with it (future problem) it started working. It seemed like the switch was "dirty" and needed to be "broken in"or used. Someone reported the batter door being painted shut. Mine is. I did try to open it, but didn't get it open. I stopped messing with it when the light started working good.

Bought these as a Christmas present and the kids loved making pictures and seeing them on the phone.It was a big hit

Mine came perfect-better than I expected.It really realistic and the light is super bright.

Thought it was just missing batteries, but when you open the battery compartment, you see that there are wires that don’t connect to anything and so much hot glue it looks like a third grader made it.Looks nice though.

My son loved this for Halloween! The way it interacts with the phone was just an added little bonus :)

Bought this for my grandsons 11th birthday. He loves it, we rented the movie the week before and I ordered the wand and it arrived a few days later. Excellent service, thank you

Nicely weighted wand with an LED light which allows you to walk around the house, in the dark.I picked this model as it didn't have a flick mechanism to switch on the LED, but had a button which you hold down.Update, the LED got quite dim after a few weeks and as I had bought batteries I decided to take the original batteries out. I removed the battery compartment screw but everything was solid with silver paint, on trying to free the batteries the end of the wand came off including the wiring. In my opinion this wand is too fragile to be handled and enjoyed.
