These beans are 100% Arabica and for Arabica beans you have about 1.5% caffeine by weight. The amount of caffeine in your cup varies by (1) your brewing method, (2) amount of ground coffee use (3) fine/coarse ground setting (4) how much coffee is in your cup. A typical drip coffee using 8 grams of medium ground beans to 8 oz of water should have about 120mg of caffeine. I don't mind dark roasted coffee unless it tastes overroasted (to me) like most French or Italian roasts. Is that the style/taste of this coffee?
