Love this soil. My flytrap is doing really well in it. It holds moisture well and it's convenient not having to mix my own. I usually do a pre rinse before planting but was in a hurry and didn't this time. It didn't seem to affect my flytrap at all so am assuming this soil is well balanced.

I don’t know too much about plants or Venus Flytraps and my flytrap is doing extremely well so I have to give this product two thumbs up. My plant doubled in size and eats, grows, and responds to sunlight and stimulus very well. Definitely a great value for the price. I will definitely be ordering more.

I have grown sarracenia for years in just straight spagnum moss but recently got some tiny starts that wouldn't stay solid in the moss so I decided to give this a try. I mixed it half and half . . . the soil promptly ran out of the hole in the bottom of the pot. Covered the hole . . . but not sure how well that will allow the water to come back up into the pot from the dish . . . The soil was much richer, dark black soil that feels good in the hand, than I expected. It does hold the water well . . . will be interesting to see how this works long term.
