Many things to think about when growing food.
Having been around agriculture all my life, I found the book to be full of common sense information as it relates to the life cycle of plants and animals. We have come to rely on science more heavily than understanding out natural processes and the things that may them up. Geared more to large operations, the small scale agriculturist can glean information for use on their scale by studying the information along with using the data taken from their lands or stock.

Incredible Reference Guide for Biological Farming
For a non-farmer, this book gave me a real insight into general farming practices, as well as an excellent summary of the literature on biological farming, soil recovery, understanding weeds and what they mean for soil health.Overall, a very enjoyable read. Probably even better if you are a practical grower or hobbyist, as there are lots of practical descriptions of how to diagnose and handle all types of situations you will find yourself in over the lifecycle of a growing season.Wonderful!

Mumbo jumbo
Purely anecdotal with now scientific or chemistry backing. Execution of such practices even if they worked are not logistically feasible on commercial operations. Suggestions that lunar gravity can remove compaction or beach sand can be turned into productive soil for $200 an acre are nuts.
