Simple good radio
For a cheap no frills radio this is great. Plugged it in and turned it on with no problems. Went to our local radio station and without using the antenna it's clear as day. I don't have it up very loud but just barely moving the volume control it gets pretty loud. So I would say it could go high.

Great inexpensive basic radio.
This is my favorite cheap radio I've ever had and I've had a few of them. This thing is ridiculously light, you can hook it with your pinky and take it from room to room. Reception is very good, I've never even needed to extend the antenna and most importantly to me is the tuning dial is tight, meaning if you bump it or something you won't lose your station. And the volume is great. I have other radios where every time I go to use one, I have to find the station again and with no digital readout, finding a channel is sometimes a nuisance. I use this in the house, in the garage and in my workshop. Should I drop a hammer on it, no biggie, it's cheap enough to get another one or two. And it' be loud if you want

Simple radio but works..
I needed a simple radio for my elderly father with sight issues. It is smaller than I thought but is working well for him.

Speaker stopped working after using the headphone jack once
I started using this radio and it was working okay for what it is. But once I plugged headphones in, the speaker no longer works after I unplug the headphones. When the headphones are plugged in I get output in the headphones, but I can no longer get speaker output when the headphones are unplugged.

The unique size and shape allows you to set this radio in where your older model car stereo used to be before it died, saving you hundreds of dollars. It's not a car stereo, but it isn't $800+ programming fees for an older vehicle you may not own in the near future.
