Kinkade as always is the best modern day painter. Most anyone can look at his work and they know the painter. He took painting to a new level. Depression, alcohol, and a divorce caught up to him. I wonder if some of his early work with the initials of his wife and children are worth more money?

My grandson likes this painter, but I'm not sure he really appreciated the gift. That's my fault, not the fault of this beautiful book. It really did make a nice presentation for a small gift.

My wife wanted this booklet to inspire her painting. It is very nice visually, and she likes it. We have also ordered a different book of this genre.

This great book is by Thomas Kinkade. My wife does Oil/Acrylic/Watercolor painting. She loved this book. It gave her idea about lightings in the painting and it helped her to practice them while painting.

The depictions of Kinkade's work in this book are so vivid that they will make your heart flutter! Each painting offers some new hidden discovery while the verse provided with each picture can bring tears to your eyes. This book has been prominantly displayed on my coffee table since I brought it home and has proved to be an inviting exploration for all my guests. Be sure to look for the hidden "N" in each painting. This book will not disappoint.

This book is the classic hometown scenes. They really do make you feel nostalgic for old world US and the small towns. The paintings are truly stunning and each is fascinating. The way the light is captured/created is outstanding. I know it's a bit of a cliche, but you really do see more and more details in each painting, the harder/longer you look. Some have a great, classic Christmas feel to them too.The prose accompanying each picture is a really nice touch and makes you slow down and enjoy the whole book as one piece of incredible art.My girlfriend is a huge Disney fan and we first came across Thomas Kinkade's work in Disney World. Among the many paintings in the art shop, his stood out above and beyond all the others. There's a certain homely and timeless feel to his paintings and he'll be missed.Relax with your chosen beverage and enjoy the nostalgia.

I love Thomas Kinkade and bough this specific book as I have the picture on the front of the book in the form of a light up Christmas hanging tapestry.The illustrations in the book are of much loved paintings of the artist along with a synopsis from a book of other authors. The book itself as not new, had a few marks on the front and back cover, looks as though some coffee/tea may have dribbled onto the cover. The book within is in very good condition. Would buy from this seller again although would probably enquire what condition it is in if I was giving it as a gift. However, for me it in no way detracts from the lovely book.

I love Kinkade , what can I say? Even more than lighted small houses, I love cities , a little old time , with people , lights, rain, shops and streets. The book is on my living room table
