I Saw What You Did There
I work outside constantly - clearing trees and way more. These silky saws are the best ever, like a hot knife through butter.

Great Landscape saw, or trail saw
This is a replacement blade for the Silky Saw 120. The saw itself is by far the best pruning saw I have used, and I have used quite a few doing landscape pruning. Being super sharp it cuts through branches up to 2" or thicker (I like to live on the edge, also may be why I keep needing a replacement blade) but be careful as this will go through skin like its not even there!Just try to remember that this is a pull saw and it will not cut on the push stroke. If you try to cut on the push stroke you will most likely be ordering a new blade shortly

I Knew Better Than To Force This Blade, But I Must Have Been Tired
Yes, I did know better. Silky saws are my favorite to use in all configurations when trying to keep up with the trimming on my 2.75 acres in Southwest Florida. This saw cuts on the pull, not of the push back. I made the mistake of forcing the blade back in the cut and snapped off the tip. My mistake, I was too tired to be out there. It was not the saw's fault. So I ordered a replacement blade, took out the old one (very simple) and put in the new blade. Now I'm back in business with one of the smallest (folding saw) but best cutting tools in the business. No excuses now!

Easy to chage
Easy to replace. As other reviews may have said, if you have a Super Accel, this is the replacement. DO NOT buy this if you have a GomBoy version.

Isn't a real silky blade
it broke on the very first cut. Not only do silky blades not break like that, its clearly not a genuine product

This replacement blade is a great product for a really great saw
This replacement blade is a great product for a really great saw! See my review of the saw for more info on that. The reason for the 3 stars is the price. The cost of the replacement blade is close enough to the cost of a new saw that it makes it hard to justify just buying a blade. However, the blade is very easy to replace. Just remove the one large screw at the base of the blade, slide the old one out. Line up the holes as you slide the new blade into place and reinsert the screw. Make sure you check the tension by folding and unfolding a few times before you finish. If you find the screw loosens back up after repeated opening and closing, then a drop of blue locktite on the threads will solve the problem. Most likely if you are here looking at a replacement then you've pinched the blade in the wood and broke it or tried to cut while pushing the saw. These saws and the subsequent blades are intended to only cut on the pull stroke. If you bear down while pushing the saw back through the cut it will bind and most likely break. In my industry (trail construction) we call these "pull saws". This is not to be confused with POLE saws (another great product Silky makes). The teeth on all pull saws cannot be resharpened. These blades are hardened through a cryogenic process that keeps them sharp for a very long time regardless of whether you're cutting live or dead wood. I use one every day and it typically lasts more than a year. If you are cutting dirty wood or roots, then expect it to get dull much quicker.

Best saw that I have ever used
I have owned this saw for several years. It is the sharpest cleanest cutting saw I have ever had. I ordered this replacement blade which came in a timely fashion even though it was shipped from Japan. When I put this blade on my old saw I was amazed how smooth and effortlessly that it cannot. I forgot how good this saw was in till I had this new blade. I have tried a lot of other hand saws. None of them are as good as this one.
