One fault but still fantastic
Hmm what can I say about this 1 the larger one is in great condition the smaller one I'm still judging where I come from the cast-iron put is a must in the kitchen its beautiful and sturdy so let me get to the point the smaller pan has some defect that you can only see after your first use it seems to be rusting under the cotting I have season both pans the same way the same day and have bin using them but the smaller of the two I keep seeing the blemishes and its getting bigger but am trying to save it so I have bin seasoning it over and over just to make sure it doesn't get worse the pans are very heavy great quality but please when you get your pans season them use them to see if any problems arise early am old school so I will try my best to fix it if not then to bin it goes but don't let that put you off that is my experience it may not be yours clean it after use and dry it well grees it down and put it away it a dry spot to protect and extend its life span it'll buy again because its the best I have bought in a long time I do recommend. I have cook so many dishes in it nothing sticks to it great findUpdateI love my skillet but this the one I mentioned before the rust prevention coat is lifting from the pan I have not scrubbed it but clear it is and its getting into my food but I am working with it till its completely off for anyone who is experiencing this problem this is my advice as the heat hits the pan it will film will rise use the scraper you can request one from the seller use itvto lift what's already raised wash your pan put it on the stove heat dry it an use the fat cure it do it till its all offer don't scrap the pan it will only mess it up this method will season the pan and form its own protective coat or u can just send it back lol.

Excellent results with these pans.
Really pleased with this purchase... used several times now on a gas hob and in the oven with excellent results. Pre seasoned but also seasoned them when they arrived and no real issues with anything sticking and they clean up well in hot water. We always make sure they are thoroughly dry and lightly oiled before putting away, so perhaps a bit higher maintenance than other pans but works for us.

Good solid pans
These are good solid pans and the removeable silicon rubber handle covers are easily fitted, even when hot. I didn't find that they were non-stick and the pre-seasoning needs continued work as I use them more; not sure if my new induction hob has anything to do with this - I'm still learning how it works. I'm very happy with the quality but marked it down one star as they aren't non stick ...yet!

Value for money
This is my first foray into cast iron and I’m pleasantly surprised at the usability. Admittedly so far I’ve only used the larger skillet once but it cooks well. Initially I placed it in the oven with oil for any hour. Having researched the prices in the market place these offered the best value and considering where they’re made very good value for money.

Good stuff
They are nice and deep. Good and heavy. Better than I'd expected. The only negative is that they don't seem to be cured. If they are, it's No Bueno. (My opinion). Otherwise, don't hesitate, good quality.

pésimo acabado
El acabado no esta pulido, ni semipulido. Es como una lija gruesa lo que hace que su funcionalidad sea poco efectiva

Best cast iron, great value, quickest to non-stick I've ever used!
This set of pans is an incredible value, like I thought they might be bunk Chinese made knock-offs.....but these are the best cast iron pans I've ever used. They are a tad thinner than lodge, but also much smoother than lodge, and I found these to actually be bonuses. The thickness of these was much better for distribution of heat and making the pan responsive to temp changes on the range.....heavier can be a real drawback sometimes when heavy pans retain too much heat to cool while cooking for certain steps. And these earent light weight, just thinner than lodge or le cruset. The smoother surface though, was also a WONDERFUL difference and meant I had a truly non-stick can cook scrambled eggs no problem, with no annoying to clean residue pan, in just 2! uses/conditionings. You can actually was these pans with soap (no soaking of courses) because the polymer/ fatty acid layer takes so solidily to the surface. Just beautiful. Not a chore to clean these pans, and they take oil beautifully too, cling to a nice thin layer....which again I think is do to the smoother texture. The preconditioning from factory is much lighter than lodge as well, but another bonus because I find theirs tacky with a tendency to flake off. No such inferior mass production here.Hands down one of the best purchases I've ever made for my kitchen. I've already told my professional level chef mom about them, and she was like, "the only cast iron I've ever gotten to be a true substitute for non-stick is your grandmother's lodge pan" and we think it's because lodge just takes that long to build up or they used to be made different. In any case......these pans are just oodles better, and come with oven safe lids and handle covers.Don't sleep on this brand, they know what's up.

Las agarraderas de silicon si pasa lo caliente o me podría decir como se usan antes de poner en la lumbre o cuando se tenga que retirar de la lumbre

Great set with proper care
These are great, enough to make me wish I'd discovered cast iron sooner! I left the original seasoning on, but did a seasoning of my own before using. I also cooked high fat foods like bacon for the first few uses to help it along. The cleaning couldn't be easier! Most times, a jet of hot water from my sink sprayer is enough, although I've needed to use the chain mail scrubber a couple times. The included silicone handles are nice, although I end up usually just using a dish towel or oven mitt because I forget to put them on before the pan heats up 😂. After cleaning, I always dry them well and hit them with a small bit of oil (a coffee filter wrapped around a dry sponge is great for spreading it: it won't lint like a paper towel or even a dish towel will, and gets into the corners nicely). Some words to the wise on care:It's metal. It will rust if you leave water in it. DO NOT PUT IT IN THE DISHWASHER. A light coat of oil after cleaning will help stave off rust. The seasoning is a layer of oil that has polymerized (changed chemically) from heat, that protects the surface and makes it nonstick. Acid-y foods like tomatoes will weaken it, as will soap: use sparingly, if at all. If your food is sticking, or the pan is dull, you may need to season it again. Google, YouTube, and Pinterest are wealths of knowledge and how-to's.Heat your pan before adding your fat and food if you want it heated evenly, especially if you're trying to sear something.Although iron is tough, it is not unbreakable. Use common sense and don't treat the pans like they're indestructible. Let them cool (at least to the point you can handle them without oven mitts) before you clean them, so you don't temperature-shock the metal and make it brittle.Be careful on a glass cooktop, so the pans don't scratch your surface.I definitely see these pans being a huge part of my cooking routine for years to come. My sons are already fighting over who they'll get left to! If you found any of my tips helpful, please be sure to click the helpful button to let me know! Thanks, and happy cooking!
