Joe G wrote about how his MBP would fit IN the tray but the metal was blocking the ports, and how he wasn't sure that anything larger than that size could fit despite the listing saying 17" laptops. He also took matters into his own hands to cut through the metal to open up the blocked ports.To Joe and anyone else having similar issues - flip it over.The laptop doesn't fit in the tray, it fits ON it. If properly placed the only lip should be at the bottom. No port blocking, fits a 17" laptop without issues.This laptop mount is cost effective and very sturdy for the price, I'd buy it again without hesitation.

Pretty simple and straightforward VESA laptop mount. I had a spare monitor arm that I wanted to use to mount a laptop. Attaching the mount to the monitor arm was easy and didn't have much problem. The angle may pose a problem for some, as it won't be level because of limited range of motion of the monitor arm. But if that's not a dealbreaker for you, this will serve you well at a good price.

I got this for my MacBook Pro. It holds the laptop well and sturdy. However there is one thing to notice before anyone purchase this laptop tray. If you want to open your lid it is very hard to reach the point where you open the lid with one finger. You have to push the laptop a little bit deeper, open the lid and then move it back.

It arrived when they said it would, was very easy to install and gave my spare monitor arm a new purpose. Not to mention helped to free up some real-estate on my desk.

For an online instructor, a dual monitor is a time-saver, having WALI Laptop Holder Trays for 1 Notebook up to 17 inches as shown is a much flexible alternative than a wall mount. When combined with a strong, and steady desk mount stand the preoccupation of breaking a monitor when adjusting viewing is gone. This product solves that problem and with a clamp mount, the assembly can be moved around a glass or wooden desk. There is no need to make holes in a monitor(s) that sits on the tray base. The trays are easy to assemble and can be adapted to mount stands. Thus, creating a system to maximize comfort when conveniently working with several PC files. It would be nice if they can make it in white also. I happily recommend this product.

Nice way to repurpose an old monitor stand and free up desk space. Fits my Lenovo X1 Extreme perfectly.Easy to mount with the provided screws and well designed with bottom holes to improve cooling.Only wish they added a little silicone adhesive strip on the inside of front lip to prevent the laptop from touching the metal directly. I might do that on my own.My unit came with a cosmetic defect but after a short email to the seller describing the problem they sent me a replacement right away.Overall very happy. 👍

Well, first off its thicker and heavier than I thought it would be, not thin or flimsy. I received mine in "Like New" condition from Amazon Warehouse, but contrary to Amazon policy, all parts were not provided. Amazon, due to their non-human interface, ditched me to the manufacturer, WALI. Although it was not WALI's fault that I didn't receive the screws/nuts needed to connect the unit to my articulated arm (it was obviously an Amazon return and/or shipping damage item, and Amazon's failure to check/verify the contents), WALI stepped up.Only thing could be added to make it better is a strap or clamp to fix the laptop to the tray. I am using the tray in a more vertical application, so I was concerned about the laptop falling. Although the unit doesn't come with straps or clamps, I looped an elastic strap around the bottom of the unit and directed the strap using some zipties that I ran through the ventilation holes (se pic). The same holes could easily be used for some L-Brackets, if needed.Good unit...better than expected...worth every penny.
