Nice little assortment of stainless steel flat head screws

I ordered this WEIDEER 750-piece nuts and bolts assortment to keep on hand for various household repairs. I was getting tired of constantly heading to the hardware store just to grab a couple of screws, only to find they didn’t have the exact ones I needed or that they were sold in quantities meant for contractors. This kit covers the basics—#6-32, #8-32, #10-24, and 1/4-20 Phillips flat head machine screws, along with matching nuts, washers, and lock washers.Everything in the kit is made from stainless steel, which is a smart choice for general-purpose use around the house. Stainless doesn’t rust like plain steel, and it handles moisture and weather well enough for indoor and light outdoor use. I wouldn’t use these to bolt down a trailer hitch or anything structural, but for mounting brackets, fixing appliances, or securing light fixtures, they’re plenty strong. The finish is smooth, and nothing in the box looked rough or cheaply stamped.I like having the whole range in one spot. The box is plastic with little compartments, and while it’s not something I’d toss around like a toolbox, it keeps everything organized enough that I can actually find what I need without dumping the whole thing out. Overall, it’s one of those things that quietly makes life easier, especially if you're the one in the house who always ends up being the “fix-it” guy.

The plastic case with movable dividers needs work. It arrived with several of the dividers laying under the washers & nuts, the parts were all mixed up. Suggest more ridgid case or put all the parts in small ziplock bags. Sorting them was a pain. The parts were fine.

In a largely metric world there isn't a whole lot of need for "inch" hardware anymore but on the farm I have quite a bit of old stuff and do a fair bit of fabrication as well so I like to have these hardware assortments on hand.This set includes 1600 pieces of #4 through 1/4" nuts, bolts and washers. The hardware is made of 304 stainless which is a food grade very corrosion stainless steel. This hardware has no magnetism which is consistent with 304 stainless. I didn't weigh it but this feels like a good 3 pounds of hardware.The hardware and in particular the threads seem very well made. Even the threads are pretty much polished. The hardware fits my test rig with no binding or burrs.For the price this is a fraction of the cost of buying pieces in the hardware store - if they even stock stainless. Stock this on the shelf and you know you'll have it when you need it and won't have any issue with corrosion.

You get #4-40, #6-32, #8-32, #10-24, and 1/4-20 Stainless Steel Machine Screws along with nuts and washers. The organizer box is sturdy and very nicely constructed. It even has a handle to carry it around.There is an insert in the case that correctly lists all the parts inside, but misidentifies the set as metric. This set contains only English, not metric nuts and bolts.
