Review: Works well in our home, use a black camera. - I've only had one issue with this clock cam cover, and it was an easy fix. First, do use a black camera, and if using a wyze cam, be sure you turn off the red recording light option, and the spotlight option in your settings. The issue I had was the front plastic cover, which is the darkening cover, started to peel off on corner, and if someone had given it a solid yank would have had full view of the camera. I simply removed it myself and used epoxy glue to afix it back into place. I've not had a single issue with recording, using a Wyze camera. But please note, this clock is large, and the time is only at the bottom, so anyone familiar with camera's might know exactly the purpose of the clock. Still, it works well, and for someone breaking into our home it'd be kind late for them to notice it. I also use it when the cleaning crew is hear, and it gives me some piece of mind. But they are aware there are camera's in our home as we told them before they began with us.

**Q: 12 hour, AM and PM option or just 24 hour time?**
A: For the record, I've always loved wyze camera and have recommended it several times. But not any more! You have changed the "rules". Now to get continuous recording, you have to pay $20 a year. I, along with many other people feel you have pulled a dirty trick. I'm confident you have sealed your company to be doomed to failure. I will never recommend Wyze ever again and will never buy another one.  I already bought the camera and shouldn't be required to pay extra to have 24/7 recording, even with an SD card. You're a crooked and money hungry company that I hope goes bankrupt for your crooked business practices.

**Q: So this isnt a wyze product at all??? Is this a scam?**
A: Definitely NOT a scam. I have 2 of them and they work great! Your cam sits inside of it discreetly and no one knows they are there.

**Q: can the red light ever be shut off? Its a dead give-away**
A: Goto advanced settings and turn off camera status light.

**Q: Does the clock actually function?**
A: Yes
