(Note: I am not a professional paint/body person, and have little experience with either. However I have performed hours of reading and video watching about different methods of how to properly touch up rock chips on cars so I'm not completely in the dark about the subject.)The color match for my 2014 Ram 1500 with Blue Streak Pearl (CL/KCL) is as close to perfect as I am able to see. I am finding that once the clearcoat sets it is much harder than the factory clear/paint. This makes it difficult to sand down without going through the factory clear around it unless you're able to be extremely precise. After a few attempts to knock the clearcoat down to level with the factory paint I broke through the clear in one spot and couldn't get it perfectly level in another. I eventually gave up on using the clear altogether and just use the color. After sanding and polishing the touch up spots are undetectable. Overall this is a good product for the color I'm using and will be purchasing another bottle of a different color for my wife's vehicle. As much as I would like to use it to protect the paint, I would not recommend using the clear.
