Reliable, well made and crystal clear video.
I can swear to the performance of this item as well as it's ease of use and intuitive design. This is going to be a difficult review for me to write, but it needs to said nonetheless. I'm not certain why I've been having actual life experiences in conjunction to the items I've been receiving, but it is so. Earlier I'd thought to test an interesting device for nothing more than to review the item itself and it's claims. When I received the item, I was surprised by the materials and build quality it had. It was made very well. The controls were simplistic making the device intuitive and I only needed a 5 minute review of the instructions to grasp the sequence of operations. So, that night I decided to test it out for no other reason other than what it claimed to do. I attached my motorcycle keys to the included key ring, turned it on, set it on the counter and literally forgot about it. The next day I saw it and remembered I left it on. So after grabbing my much needed morning coffee, I hooked it up to my computer and opened the DCMI file and played it. Then my jaw hit the floor, I couldn't believe what I just saw. Yesterday afternoon, I had a TV repair guy come over and he said before he did any work he'd need to see my warranty papers. So I went to my office to find the paper work. He knew I wouldn't have them on me and that I'd need to go look. When I went back to the office, this is when he struck! He took a box cutter and scratched a spot on the TV. Was what I was seeing really happening? When I came back to talk to him with my papers, he told me since I damaged the TV that the warranty was null and void. I WAS FURIOUS! I am so glad I had recorded that and the video was in high definition and clear as day. There's a selection of definition to choose and I chose 1080p. As a matter of fact as I'm writing this, I'm at the county building to show to footage to the county clerk for possible litigation along with my recording. My life would have gone differently without this remarkable device and it'll stay with me permanently. I truly thank the heavens for it!

Amazing Video Capacity. Clever Key Fob Spoof. Limited Run Time.
I'm impressed by the physical quality of this little device. I don't think anybody will recognize this as stealth camera because it is so convincing as an ordinary remote key fob for a car. The video quality is outstanding. The low light sensitivity might be enhanced by not having a heavy neutral density plastic covering the lens. But then you would obviously be able to see the lens and lose some of its stealth properties. The audio quality is not so great, making it hard to understand conversations over ambient noise. I think the audio might be cleaned up with a noise-cancelling feature. The instructions took a bit of time to get the hang of turning it on/off as well as start/stop recording in one of two resolutions. Once I got the hang of it, operation seemed pretty straight forward. Although it was annoying that a simple swipe of my thumb across the blank high-definition button will start recording. The result was I often started a recording just by handling the fob and was unaware it was running until I viewed the files.I tested it by placing it on a kitchen shelf which covered most of my kitchen space in the evening during a time I knew there would be a lot of activity. I started it after making sure it was fully charged using the USB-C port hidden under a black rubber cover. I used the lower 1080P setting to conserve space and maybe battery power. I let it run overnight and checked it in the morning. The instructions state that the maximum recording time is 90 minutes. My test recording time was from 4:39 pm to 7:10 pm. This resulted in 2.5 hours or 150 minutes of recording time. There were 30 five-minute 475MB video files plus a final 65 MB file, all of which occupied about 15GB on the 64GB flash memory. There was plenty of storage space remaining, so I assume it stopped when it ran out of battery power. In general, the files sizes for a five minute video was FHD 1080p 475MB or QHD 1440p 575MB. This may help you calculate the maximum amount of storage available for storing video recordings.I think a major shortcoming is a lack of motion detection recording. If you want to place this somewhere to record some kind of activity, you must manually start it within two hours of when you expect this to happen. Otherwise it just records for the maximum time and shuts down. Motion detection may allow you to place it somewhere and know it will start recording when something happens or the battery runs out of juice. In the interest of extending runtime, I tried recording while it was attached to a battery pack, thinking I could run it longer. But it simply will not start recording if I have it plugged into a charging adapter or external battery pack. If I plug it in while recording, it stops recording and enters charging mode.Besides enabling longer run time, I would like to see some way to tweak the configuration with Bluetooth or a serial-port based communication. Yet that is just a wish list. All in all, this a great little device that could use some tweaks to make it even better.
