Jamaican Mango & Lime Resistant Formula Locking Gel, 6 Ounce

As someone who is still learning the best methods for retwisting my own locs, this gel was a lifesaver for me. I definitely would recommend it for a beginner who still needs to work on their technique, but also doesn’t want their retwist to be in vain. It has great hold! I wouldn’t recommend using it as an edge control or anything (sought residue) but I was very happy with this purchase!

Love the smell and twists my locks beautifully. Keeps them soft and well groomed.

I dont have a lot of experience with gel hold but this one is okay, i wish it were stronger and lasted longer than a week

I know this product gets a lot of great reviews and I'm disappointed I can't write one. This product simply did NOTHING for my Caucasian (with synthetic extensions) hair. I tried everything to get this product to work but, with no avail. I'm guessing the hair structure is different between ethnic hair and none ethnic hair but, it was worth a try. I ended up making my own locking gel from flax seed gel and that worked beautifully!

Instantly infuses with hair for a healthier strand and hold well. My wife loves it

This gel is amazing!! Works great for Loc maintenance/re-twist, I use it faithfully. Only product I have used when doing my own hair. And it smells good.

Rasta Mango & Lime Locking Gel is Fantastic. I am constantly recieving comments on my Lovely Locs, thanks to this product. My hair is manageable, soft, moisturized (not sticky or greasy) ... I love this product. Use the Locking Gel along with the moisturizing spray, shampoo and conditioner for Lovely Locs, all the time.
