Set of 4 Nesting Box Wood Crates

These get 5 stars across the board. These are put together solidly. Made from pine, sanded, and then stained so you get that great woodgrain showing through...the one thing is, the wood stain.I've worked with all sorts of wood stain in tons of environments so I'm not exactly a lightweight in the 'destroying my brain cells with industrial chemical fumes' division. So when I tell you to open the box and leave it outside for a day or so, I'm not kidding. Not even cracking a window helps.Other than that, these are absolutely perfect. Great craftsmanship. Someone either cared when they made it, or cared when they programmed the machine that made it. Flush edges, nothing crooked, nothing cracked, no splinters. Just old-lady-at-church-perfume strength eau de wood stain.

These are shockingly gorgeous! The stain color is perfect and though there is a faint scent, in no way is it overpowering. The boxes were nested perfectly in the cardboard shipper, so I was surprised to find the larger box wasn’t completely put together. I make that distinction because upon removal, it was clear that they hadn’t come loose in shipping, as there was no splintering or fraying in any way. All 4 sections of the top appeared to be placed over the holes and just not hammered in...one set of nails/staples was bent in a way that would make it difficult to assemble - hence my thought that it was placed in the box that way. After some carpentry, I put it together. They’re lovely.

So cute and easy way to decorate a dresser or desk. If you need more space, they stack well, and provide extra shelving. Keep in mind they are not a box. Only a few inches wide, so it takes less space on a dresser or desk.

I bought these to better display some plants & they are perfect. They are very sturdy & well made. There is no wobbling so I can lay them flat or on the side for extra height. I will be getting more since they can be used in a variety of ways.

Just got delivered today! We couldn't figure out what that smell was?! Thought it was the neighbors staining something...The box wasn't even open and I was getting a headache. We'll give it a few days in the garage. I'm excited about them though!

The only reason I have these a four star for the value is that they were smaller than I had thought. They are very well made, sturdy and evenly stained

Beautiful rich natural color

I used these as a cupcake display on my dessert table. They are sturdy and smell good too. A little pricey, but tolerable.
