Wonderful flavor and a good wake me up in the morning. This is the second flavor I’ve tried from Green Mountain and I have been very impressed and satisfied with both.

First tried this blend in a company cafeteria some years back. The cafeteria either used pre-ground coffee or ground their beans on premise. The K-Cup offering comes out really well in my Keurig K-10 tank-less unit using 10 oz. of water. Speaking of water, one can use either distilled water or what comes out of a reverse osmosis unit. At first, my Keurig wouldn't work with the water out of my reverse osmosis unit. After a little thought, I realized the Keurig needed some minerals in the water because of the ions present when water has minerals. Since I didn't want to run vinegar to "de-scale" the Keurig after some use, I remembered my high school chemistry and used just a few grains of table salt in the 10 oz. of water. The amount of salt needed is less that the average person's threshold of being able to taste the salt but enough to satisfy the Keurig's need for ions in the water to operate correctly. Not introducing high mineral content water into the Keurig will eliminate the need for de-scaling on a periodic basis and probably extend the life of the unit. Remember, just a few grains of salt (maybe 10-20) is all that is needed. I usually expose just one hole in the salt shaker and tip it into the palm of my hand. I then transfer the salt from my hand into my water before pouring the water into the Keurig. Sorry to get off topic. I have found that no matter what blend of coffee one likes, it tastes the best when brewed with water containing no minerals. I believe if there is a better tasting de-caf than the Vermont Country Blend from Green Mountain Roasters, the difference probably would be more a matter of personal taste than actual quality.

coffee itself was great but company charges outrageous shipping fees and it took forever for my order to arrive - way longer than indicated - and the two packages i ordered together at same time came in separate shipments days and days apart!!
