Rhode Island Novelty Blue Police Beacon Light

We purchased a red and blue to use as a stage prop. The red lens is not nearly as dark as the blue and it was ok, but the blue didn't really work for our purposes. So, I found here on Amazon E12 LEDs (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JLPDBZD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) that replace the 15w incandescent bulbs this comes with and now they look great.

I bought this to put on top of my virtual pinball machine. It's nice and big, measuring 7" tall. It runs on 120V AC with a quality plug, but the unit itself is pretty cheaply made. The light and mirror doesn't actually rotate around, but instead just the mirror rotates around the light. This still gives a nice sense of a siren effect, but not as good as a true spot light circulating the room. I pulled off the red cover and noticed the screw holding the rotating mirror to motor was lose. I had to tighten it with a screwdirver. I'm glad I opened it up and heightened it as I'm not sure how long it would have worked before coming completely lose and falling off. But, overall for what I paid, this light will work great for my application and therefore was worth the money I spent. 4 star rating.

Bulb is not bright enough, had to replace bulb with higher wattage. Worked fine in our play.

Not really worth buying luckily I can get a brighter bulb otherwise too dark

Upon unboxing, everything was intact and well packed against breakage. Light worked great, better at night of course. I intend on using this on trick or treat night and with that being said, great product for the minimal use it will get. Also, for the price, dont expect high end material in this light, it is built well though. In closing, a better light replacement method would be great.

Great product! Very bright. It was actually too big for what I planned to use them for.

I bought this, and the blue version for my virtual pinball machine cabinet. I wired it into an on/off relay. (NOTE: they are 120v! only)For the price, it works a heck of a lot better than I expected. The motor is nice and quiet, and they have a perfect effect.The only negative is that the blue cap is supposed to be able to come off, but they glued it from the inside! Not hard to fix, but I'm not sure why they'd make it difficult to change out the bulb.

Works as expected out of the box. It would be nice to have a brighter bulb with a standard base. The bulb is basically a 4-watt night-light bulb and is soldered to the power leads. I would prefer to have a standard, threaded base so the bulb could be easily replaced.

to dark

Works good. Blue Dome is too dark, not enough light gets out. I have 4 red ones and they are nice and bright, these, not so bright.
