is it glazed from neck to body?

Body finish looks like polyurethane or similar. Back of neck has a raw wood look and feel - I'm guessing it's tung oil. I have several tung oil finished guitars, and it's exactly like them.

What gauge strings came on this? I've had this for about a year and need to replace the strings.
