Not bad, not real good
I bought this to use in the spindle socket of my Sakai ML360 lathe. The TIR of this spindle socket is less than 0.0001". Based on my sample of one you get a usable for some applications ER chuck for the price. Doing a bluing check in the spindle socket the MT2 taper is slightly steep, which is better than the other way. TIR of the collet taper socket is 0.0011" - and this is very repeatable regardless of clocking, which means the MT taper is accurate enough for a good fit. The TIR on a test drill rod in a collet is a very repeatable 0.0011", which means to me the collect socket angle is accurate enough to closed the collet correctly.0.0011" is more than I want for making small parts. I usually buy quality tooling but in my search I did not find one of these ER20/MT2 chucks made by a reputable brand like Bison or ETM. I suppose I'll touch this one up sometime.UpdateSince my review above I set up a adhoc tool post grinder and carefully touched up the collet socket. It now runs dead true and with the ETM collets I have drill rod pins are showing zero to one or two tenths TIR. So, if you get one that isn't all that good, and you don't want to play the return it till you get a good one game, with a little careful work you can make it near perfect. Just make sure the MT taper is good as described above. I used a Foredom flex shaft head but a Dremel should work as well. People sell Dremel toolpost adapters on *bay. You can see online how to set up a precise angle compound slide. And make no mistake, you can render it completely unusable if you do this operation wrong, so make sure you are replicating the existing taper angle of the socket.

Very nice
Seems ok. It runs visually true I didn't put an indicator on it but I didn't see the need to.

Runs true, perfect given the price.
Used this with my Nova Galaxi wood lathe and a Rockler mandrel for turning wood handled bar tools. Works, great, fits the spindle and the collets securely, as you would expect. Given the price, this is exactly what I was looking for, and far cheaper than other options, so 5 stars for sure.

Good but needs modification
Right out of the box it had a lip on the inside of the locking nut which kept collects from sitting properly inside. Apparently this is common for these Chinese er20 collets. I was able to use a Dremel and grind it out (a lathe would be even better) other than that however it is pretty decent and gets the job done.

In case you need to add a tang to drive it out of your spindle...
I haven't used this yet as it just arrived today. I realized that it doesn't have a tang that allows you to drive it out of the spindle using a drift. It has a M10X1.5 tapped hole for a draw bar. I just ordered this M10X1.5 tang screw to pair with it so that it can be easily driven out: https://www.amazon.com/VERTEX-3900-0790-Tang-Screw-Draw/dp/B00R13981Q
