However, about 60 days in, it started to ring with false rings. My wife insisted that she did not ring for me, for any reason. And, I have also witnessed her asleep when it id go off. At first, I thought it was from interference with other radio signals. Yet, we live in a rural setting and my closest neighbor is about 150 yards away. From what I understand, there are no other signals that would interfere. While we do have WiFi along with a radio on a 60' pole to support the WiFi, that does not seem to be a factor. This seems that the thing just gets lonely sometimes and decides to seek attention. There’s only two tones I would even remotely consider and that’s the first one hat sounds like a doorbell, and then about 25 options later you have the coo coo clock which is the one we chose. But it was simple enough to set it. I got this for my special needs teenager so she can call me when she’s in bed. She has Cerebrally palsy, therefor she has poor motor skills. She was able to to push the button (repeatedly 😬) with no problem so that was a relief.
