Easy to use

These are fantastic! I bought them to help me cut down on the time I was spending tying knots in ropes each time I went to the lake to uncover and then covered back up the water toys with tarps. Having these cut the time and frustration by over 70% Also, these have the spring clips on the hooks so they can't pop out when the wind shakes the tarps. They are very secure and very strong for the size. The other consideration if you are looking at cost because these aren't cheep is that the old cords and ropes from the big box stores also sun rot and fray and have to be replaced often - I understand these are made with parachute cord that is treated to minimize sun damage. Well worth the money from my perspective.

The spring loaded hook is terrible. Bent out of shape then broke off the first time I used it. Not worth the $10-$12 at all.

No, these are not for securing heavy loads and things like that. They are light weight and for light use. That being said, I swapped out standard para cord in longer lengths for what I needed. The cord they come with appears to also be the same as regular para cord so it worked perfect. I use them to lash down numerous small items to keep them from shifting around and stuff like that. Super quick attach and detach so it's convenient. When hauling large stuff they're great for tossing around a frig or dresser to keep the doors closed and things of that nature. Have come in handy for quick tight clothes line and to secure tent when outdoors a few times. I like having 4 of them in a ziplock tossed under the truck seat.

Works fine a little bit less solid as expected but works well enough for need.

Great little tie down and the para-chord is holding up fine. They are a little on the lite-weight side however. I also bought a pair of the next size up (1/4 inch rope) I like those slightly better.

these are just what i needed for holding items secure in the hatch back of my car. I use for to keep items from tipping or shifting. easy to use and they work great
