Pretty sure I got a Return of this set. Which really has me bummed out. The items were thrown into the carry case, chips and putting on the metal. The thinning shears had some white fluffy hair in them (maybe from a dog?). I'm going to return them and just buy them in black. Hopefully I'll have a better result. Fingers crossed.UPDATE:I 100% was mailed a return the first go around. I did return and reorder the black set which came perfectly packaged with everything in its place. Raised stars to 4/5 because they are really nice and I'm happy with the replacement. However, the quality control either from Amazon or the seller themselves needs to improve so this doesn't happen again. There is some chipping from the paint but it doesn't look like it's from actual use.Honestly it looked like someone ordered a new pair with the first ones I got and returned their old shears. Not cool.

Well made, quality scissors with blunt tips, but a bit long for my small fluffy girl cat. These are the shortest I could find. I had a pair from another company that were shorter, which I could manage easily. For the delicate around her booty I ended up cutting too close and nicked her. My fault, I will be more careful next time. Definitely sharp, use caution.

These are ok to use in a pinch but I wouldn’t recommend them.I’ve used these for almost a year now, with a lot of frustration but not realizing that most of this was due to the quality of this particular set. After researching more watching some videos, I understand that the pushing of hair when trying to use is a quality & design issue. Same thing with the overall lack of smoothness when opening and closing.I’m also coming to understand that these were not sharp enough to begin with to be able to use with ease. The tightness adjuster is not easy to use either, since it requires a key (other pairs I’ve now tried do not).These have also recently began to rust.

This set works amazing on my golden retriever. I’ve gone through many sets and finally asked a professio Groomer what she recommended. She showed these to me and I bought same day. Definitely hands down the best grooming set I’ve purchased.

These came faster than expected, and wow! I’m in shock how great these really are!I practiced hairstyling for a while and these definitely rate up there with your professional shears that cost upwards of $300!Good weight, easy to hold, sharp and they’re cute!
