Michelin Commander II Reinforced Motorcycle Tire Cruiser Rear - 150/80-16

Great tires. Hold up well, with high mileage. Handle well on both dry roads and in the rain (wish I did not know that, but we've ridden many times in the rain). Good traction, good control, good wear.

What a difference from my other tire. By far the best tire I have ever had for my Harley, you don't feeling nothing but smoothness on the road, even on uneven roads and the rumble strips. Will always buy Michelin.

Tire works as it should great tire so far. Tread is great, great value for the money. Seems very durability it seems.

People if your riding on anything but a commander your screwing up. The best tire on the market. I ride an electria glide classictjat built. It's the crouchrovket killer. Tire is amazing burnouts are alit very e tree but don't do tht though unless you race like I do

So I've been running this tire along with the Commander II front tire on my Yamaha Road Star 1600 for a few months now.. the bike had some old Dunlop D404s when I got it, and they made the bike feel really sketchy and slippery in the corners and on dirt/gravel.. I have to say these Michelin tires really gave the bike a totally different feel. Way more stable and nimble in all conditions.. be it dry roads, bumpy roads, wet roads, twisty mountain passes, interstates, dirt/gravel roads, you name it, these tires excel across the board in all situations you could think of.. I've put over 5000 miles on my set already, including a 1800 mile round trip to Yellowstone/Grand Teton and back and the tires still look brand new! No noticeable tread wear whatsoever which is pretty remarkable.. I don't really have any experience with other tires besides the D404s but I would say these are probably the best choice for motorcycle tires on the market. They're more expensive than a lot of other tires but I personally think they're worth every penny.

The tire I received was manufactured the first week of 2025. I usually get my tires from a well known motorCycle shop where they sell tires and Gear, and the tires have always been a year old. Needless to say, I love the fact that this tire was made this year! Also, there was an error in shipping and the tires had to be re-shipped. The customer service from Avid Cycles was amazing. I don’t usually write reviews, but they deserve a good review for the way they handled the shipping issue and kept me informed. Thank you!

The tire I received did not have a clearly marked balance mark to show where the lightest side of the tire is to put by the air valve. This made the installation a bit more of trial and error than normal. Seems good quality but only have 100 miles on it.

Surprised to find tire we needed for our Harley.
