I purchased this item because I had a travel bag similar to it about 20 years ago when I rode and it was awesome. I still have the small bedroll top piece from that bag. The new bag arrived and I noticed it wasn't as well made. I compared the two bed rolls and the material is much flimsier on the new bag.I've only used it once while on vacation for the July 4th week. The slide on doesn't fit on my backrest (07 Road King) so I had to use the straps which worked ok but wouldn't get as tight as I liked. I added some bungie cords to make it more secure. I had a full bag and could not get the top bed roll to tighten. I ended up putting a net over it to hold it in place. While riding the zippers are noisy.Overall it did what I needed it to. On my trip back home I noticed the stiching was starting to come apart on one of the straps. It was cheaper then any like sized Harley travel bag so the price was right. Would I buy it again probably not as I don't see it lasting for too many trips.

I am on my third one of these bags in 6 years. I have used them for many cross country trips. The last one was a bit different then the first two. The fabric on this bag is vinyl coated fabric and was of a higher quality then the first two. However, all of the zippers failed in the first day of travel. Good product but in need of much stronger zippers if you are going to use this for a regular and dependable road bag. The lace back for seat rests or sissy bars is a bit to small too to fit on most cruiser class bikes. My wife is a clothing and textile designer and did some modifications to make this bag work better. It is a good bag and has a lot of features for the price. BUT as noted, a bit on the weak side.

If you get caught in the rain you won't have to worry very well built

Do not get this so call Luggage Bag for your bike!! The straps will not lock, the bag is not sturdy!! You have to use bungee cords to hold down the bag on your bike... Leather I don't know about that... However I do know, it will not work in any condition such as packing your clothes and other articles in that Luggage Bag and strapping it down on your bike... It is not practical, for a road trip on a bike... If you decide to get this so call Travel Bag, plan on losing articles out of the bag, in such cases zippers don't close properly, tie down don't clasp... Well Good Luck if you decide to get this LUGGAGE BAG!!

Unfortunately, it does not fit my particular bike/sissy bar, so if a friend can't help me figure it out I may have to return it, but not because of anything to do with the bag. It feels SOOO nice--very soft and strong; tons of straps; big enough to hold even my leather jacket when the day turns warms, which is why I got it. I could also keep a first aid kit and basic emergency tools in the small bag which goes on top because there is more than room enough. If it fits your bike and you're going on long trip or shopping, or for whatever reason need to take a lot of stuff with you-THIS IS THE BAG!

Zippers seemed too small and not strong enough to withstand hard rides through hard weather. Should include a raincoat for the bag.

The item came with no instructions however I figured it out! Took it on a 1900 mile motorcycle run to key west it worked perfectly for my needs and packed up just fine and looked good on my bike. Had to lash with bungee cords but that was fine. R worked well and I am happy with the purchase.
