I love this stuff. I add it to coffee. I read that protein without fiber can slow your system down, so I also mix in a scoop of Sunfiber and my morning coffee is doing the most.

Very impressive! Very fine powder easily dissolves in a hot liquid, slight taste of chocolate, and it has worked well. Persistent bruises on my hands for several weeks have resolved after a few weeks of daily use. I recommend this product. Giving it a try, I am very pleased with the results.

I am a tried and true user of the unflavored Sports Research collagen peptides powder. This review is specifically for the Dark Chocolate flavor - the taste is AMAZING! I add 1 scoop to my coffee and it ends up tasting like hot chocolate, without the sugar. My only criticism is that the Dark Chocolate flavor is slower to dissolve than the Unflavored variety. The Unflavored requires almost zero mixing as the product dissolves with hot liquid seamlessly. This Dark Chocolate variety does dissolve completely - it just takes some additional time and stirring (see small chunks in picture). But the flavor is AMAZING. I'd absolutely purchase this product again and I strongly believe in the power of daily collagen peptides. ****BELOW IS MY REVIEW OF THE UNFLAVORED COLLAGEN PEPTIDES**** I add a scoop of collagen protein powder to my coffee every morning. I've tried a few different brands to compare price, taste, benefits, etc. Of the 3 brands I've tried (Protein Basix, Sports Research, and Vital Proteins), this brand has been the most reasonably priced and seems to work just as good as the more expensive one. I add a scoop to the bottom of my coffee mug every morning and pour hot coffee over the top. The pour is enough for all of the powder to dissolve completely. There is never any residue or excess chunks floating at the top. When I finish my coffee, there is never any pockets of protein powder remaining at the bottom. This collagen powder does not affect the taste of my coffee what so ever. I did not take any before/after photos of my hair, skin, or nails. However, I have noticed that my hair is healthier with less split ends and breakage. I am very active and run 20+ miles a week among an occasional sub 2-hour half marathon. Since I've supplemented my diet with collagen powder, I have noticed that my recovery is much better after long runs. My joints don't ache as much as they used to. I can easily recommend this product and will be purchasing it again for myself. Of the other brands I've tried, the Vital Proteins is a close second. The product is just as good and dissolves easily without affecting the taste. However, the Vital Proteins brand is more expensive - I believe this is primarily due to the endorsements of "Whole30 approved, paleo friendly, etc." I did not notice any difference in my joint health or hair, skin, and nails when I switched from the Vital Protein product to the Sports Research product - therefore I do believe it is as effective for a cheaper price. I do NOT recommend the Protein Basix brand - this product does not dissolve at all and formed hard chunks in the bottom of my coffee mug. I threw away the entire canister of Protein Basix collagen powder.

Great product, taste and collagen

This is our favorite collagen powder. We've tried other brands and this one tastes better. Less artificial flavor. Great addition to coconut yogurt.

Most importantly- this is Not just for athletes. Anyone, anytime, if you have do not allergy issues etc. with ingredients. This tastes FANTASTIC- Very Yummy and is a GREAT low calorie snack (50 Cal per scoop) plus gives you 11 grams of protein, not to mention the main reason for it - the collagen. - All delivered to your body via Life Sustaining WATER- which we all need anyway, so why not make H2O taste good, and be even better for you? Make a "Double Peptide" and you only have 100 calories, 22 grams of protein PLUS of course the Collagen. It is also another Super Good way to drink part of your daily fluid amounts if you have "reluctance" with getting enough daily plain water consumption. After a hard run or bike ride- I make a double - Mix 2 scoops in 20 ounces of water and there is 20 oz of H2O that goes down easily, tastes good and nourishes you after a work out or in the middle of a workout to boot! this Never upsets my tummy no matter how hard I am working out. Of course you can make single scoops with less water or single with the same 20 oz of water- either way the water is still tasty. I recommend a rechargeable (or battery) "drink whisk" device to blend it up in the tall cup well if using cold water- it will blend in cold water with such a devise without issues. Works well in a hot drink too if you like a little "cocoa" at bedtime. It can be made up in advanced, chilled, without issues of degradation for drinking it later. No funky aftertaste either.... or "coating" feeling in the mouth. I find that I can ALSO substitute this drink successfully (LOL, my bad sweet tooth) when I want something super sweet but it is an inappropriate time to do so and it handles my sugar craving- lets face it, my sugar addiction, perfectly while delivering 100 % healthy things into my system instead. In those "sweet crisis" times the Peptides work better/satisfies my craving longer than fruit. It is NOT a diet/meal substitute for weight loss but will stave off those bad urges to eat surgery sweets triple + in calories for that darn sugar craving. Guiltless. Plus H20 Totally recommend this product. Sports Research products are great for those who are super active or not.

I have using this product for about a month. I really like the flavor in my coffee, but I just noticed this morning on the back of the package. I cannot bring myself to use it again because of the warning of possible lead in this product. I am not even really sure why this could be there.

It is an excellent product

Lo compré para mi mamá y le encantó. Su sabor es chocolate con toque salado. Caliente le gusta mucho o combinado con su café. Buscaba un colágeno con buenos ingredientes y este esta perfecto. No le inflama ni tuvo ningún efecto adverso en ella, al contrario. Esperamos ver algún cambio en su piel pero por lo pronto se ve mas radiante. El bote trae muy buena cantidad rinde para mas del mes. Excelente relación calidad-cantidad-precio. Volvería a comprar.

Me ayudó mucho con la perdida de cabello Post Covid-19, había oído que el colágeno es buen suplemento y me ayudó a detener la caída. Lo he tomado casi diario (lunes a sábado) desde hace mes y medio y aún no termino el primer bote. No tuve reacción alérgica en la piel, siendo que mi tipo de piel es seca a atópica. Sin duda lo recomiendo 😊
