Super excited to see this remote control arrive from Ampeak. And a big thanks to the great customer service rep that kept me apprised of the status and availability after I'd made an inquiry. First, it works. Turns the entire inverter on and off -- i.e. it shuts down, fans off, etc. Perfect. Second, the 20 foot line is solid and will allow for a lot of flexibility for controlling the inverter from a distance. In my case, when car camping I can run the line from the car (where the Ampeak 2000w inverter is) to the nearby tent. Sweet. Many a time I've been ready to turn out the lights and chargers to sleep, only to have to get out of the tent and open the car and switch off the inverter. Nevermore. :-)

Works well with the inverter. Very simple design. Just a On/Off button. High Quality build with easy plug and start function. This should be a standard part with the inverter. Not a aftermarket purchase.

I Purchased this to use for a remote connection to my inverter, which is in a different room. The device worked great for about two weeks and then stopped functioning. I contacted the company through Amazon multiple times and never received any kind of response.

The cord is extremly long, so as long as you have some zipties and a place to stuff the excess, it works as advertised

Works as intended. I just wish it wasn't so big, I ended up cutting it down to make it smaller which is not easy since its made of metal which makes the build quality great, its just too big.

Bought this little gem for the RV coffee maker. Installed and ran the remote control panel into the kitchen counter back plash. Installed the inverter in the compartment next to the batteries. Made coffee with it 4-5 times and not a single problem. I do not have to start the generator in the RV parks anymore when I get up at 4:30 to 5:00 in the morning and the wife can sleep. Highly recommend for a square wave application but not for televisions or other sensitive electronics. Buy a pure sine wave inverter for those items.

Ampeak AC Power Inverter Remote On/Off Switch with 20 Ft Cable Push Button Switch LED Flush Mount This unit adds convenience of use to the power inverter and I'm glad Ampeak made this available, but it could use some improvements. The mounting plate is unnecessarily large. I'm using this in a vehicle, so the size of it makes it difficult to place. Furthermore, the description states "flush mount," but the switch mechanism housing protrudes approx. .5in from the back, which means you would need to cut a hole in the mounting surface to flush mount it. I used double-sided mounting tape because i do not want to cut or drill my vehicle's interior. Another detail is that there is no strain relief where the delicate wires lead into the housing; this leaves it vulnerable to damage if the cable gets strained inadvertently. P.S. Ampeak has demonstrated exceptional customer service, and I am overall satisfied with their products. I am merely trying to provide helpful feedback to the seller as well as shoppers.

Do not purchase this unless it is for the AMPEAK inverter. It will not work with mine and the seller is vague on what it works for.
