I love this book! The pictures are so realistic and the accounts are accurate. The book was written by a mormon, but the story isn't twisted so we went ahead and purchased it. We buy each one of our children a Christmas book every year and present it to them on Christmas Eve with a new pair of PJ's...A little tradition we got from my sister's family. Then we read them together at bedtime and throughout the holidays. It is the BEST Christmas story book EVER, outside the BIBLE itself. It conveys to the children with very realistic pictures the TRUE account indeed! Last year this book was close to $200 anywhere online, even used. I guess that was because the holiday season was in full swing. So I waited until the summer/fall time frame and bought one for my son, and a few for relatives. I paid about $10-15 for used ones and $29.99 for a NEW one. Worth every penny!

I collect Christmas books and this is one of my favorites. The illustrations are beautiful paintings that depict the story of the birth of Jesus Christ. The paintings are accompanied by scripture. A lovely book for any collection.

This was written by a Mormon and includes writings from the Book of Mormons.

This is a delightful artist portrayal of the Christmas story that I have given all my children and grown grandchildren.

Book itself is beautiful. The jacket however is damaged and looks used and I bought this book new for above retail price.

This book is most definitely intended for Mormons! There are quotes from the books of Moses, Abraham and Doctrine and Covenants. These are NOT Biblical books.

this is a beautiful book that I display in my home year-round. Much too special to put away until Christmas.
