Most definitely worth the price (bought king size)
This bed is great for the price. I wasn't expecting to get something that will last me 20 years, but this seems it will last plenty long enough to get my money's worth out of it. It looks great and thankfully gets my bed up off the floor finally.Pros: Looks great. Easy to assemble (everything screws with included allen wrench, a standard screwdriver everyone has in the junk drawer, and very very minimal elbow grease) only took about 45 minutes. Showed up 5 days earlier than the earliest arrival date given.Cons: Honestly? Not really a lot to complain about. There's a bit of a smell, but it's that fresh woody product smell like walking into the lumber department at Lowes. Expect it to be aired out in a few days.Notes: Don't expect this to be a "forever" bed, but if you need it to get you through a few years til you can invest in something nicer it will do fine. Or as a guest bed it would last plenty long enough. DO NOT try to use without a boxspring or bunkie board. That's asking for disaster, there's not enough coverage for lone support of a mattress. I have about 5 inch box springs and a hybrid king mattress that work well though. The slats are sturdy enough (2 feet per slat on the king size I got. Looks like queen and full have 1 foot each, and twin has none though. Just for better idea.) I used them to lean on hoisting myself back to standing and they didn't bow. I DID have to kind of force the side rail in as I was screwing the slats down, (so the screw would not be barely gripping the edge of the side rails) but was able to do this easily by hand. No drill or power tools required.

The entire setup has 6 steps and that's it! Also, a couple tips for assembling your bed!
Having recently moved to a new state, we had to get rid of a lot of worn furniture and in turn replacing it. One of which was the guest bedroom. I searched the usual places for secondhand furniture but came up empty. Many people were really proud of their IKEA furniture thus wanted someone to pay retail (or close) for their used furniture.Enter the Crown Mark Upholstered Panel Bed! We purchased it in black to match the black/brown furniture that we could move in the moving truck. Since I am usually a DIY'er (do it yourselfer), I wanted to break out my power tools and show this bed frame who is boss. However I refrained and took my time building it. None of the pieces of wood are solid so some of your favorite power tools could do some damage if used. Since our guest room still has remnants of our move, it took me under 2 hours from start to finish. This included moving the box into the room, moving the bed/box spring out of the room, and opening the box and laying out all the pieces. I may have snuck in some play time with our puppy too. I highly recommend having a good sized workspace to assemble the bed.The only time I used any kind of power tools was screwing the bed support slats into the frame. Other than that I used both of the provided Allen wrenches throughout the entire build. When you are done screwing in the slats, don't forget to adjust the middle support legs to the desired height.Overall, this bed frame is worth more than what they sell it for. It comes with 4 support slats. In the United States, beds are only required to have 2, so the added support is appreciated. All the pieces are shipped inside the headboard and the screws/bolts/allen wrenches are contained in a blister pack. For anyone looking for a bed frame that is worth buying sight unseen, this is the one. Give it a shot and you will be surprised!

Excellent classy look, simple assembly
This is the third low-cost platform bed I've purchased through Amazon. This is certainly not the sturdiest one I have bought, but I love it because it looks amazing. That is exactly what I wanted: a bed that I could put together myself, disassemble myself (I'm using this for staging a home so I'll need to move and store it), but would look EXPENSIVE. This fit the bill.SHIPPING/PACKAGING:This conveniently comes packaged in one box, with all parts and accessories stored inside the headboard itself. This makes for very efficient packaging, so it all comes in one big box. However, this makes it heavier, so I had to open the box and bring everything inside and upstairs in several trips. Not a big deal but just more time consuming, I rather the less packaging than less trips for me. Everything was included that should have been, and no damage to anything. All in excellent shape.ASSEMBLY:So this wasn't my first rodeo, I knew essentially how this was going to be put together. It still took me about 2 hours on my own, but it would be a lot faster if these manufacturers would ever use regular phillips screws instead of the allen key junk. Why does all of this DIY furniture have to use these?!?! So much time. The instructions are a simple one-pager, which is great. The parts on the plastic wrapped cardboard are also generally great, but these weren't labeled with the A,B,C.. etc that were on the instructions, so you had to consult the table in the instructions, then look at the mm sizes of the parts, and figure out which you were supposed to use that way. Would've been much more efficient to just put A,B,C.. on the darn cardboard.QUALITY:As I said, I do not feel this is the sturdiest bed ever. But since I am using it for the look I am not worried. If you are using a really thin mattress you'll definitely want a box spring for this!!! I ordered a small 8" mattress to keep things simple for my staging, and it looked absolutely hilarious. Looked like I just threw a comforter on the platform bed. So I had to go buy a box spring on the fly.LOOKS:This looks amazing. Especially when you dress it up with nice bedding. I think the nailheads look great, the fabric was perfect and this was everything I wanted it to be and more. Very happy with this purchase.

Ordered twin/single receieved XL Twin size bed
The product is not as sturdy as I expected. It's good for a small child but you must make it more sturdy if u want to get a couple of years out of it.And also I ordered a Twin bed and received a XL Twin so my mattress does not fit will. Huge gap that i have to stuff pillows in. Very disappointed!
