I have a planted freshwater tank, and I’ve been looking for a product to prune my greens as they get overgrown. I ended up with this product because it was inexpensive and came with several other tools rather than just the scissors. And it works perfectly!The four tools come in a drawstring bag which I honestly threw out. Seems like a cute gesture but it’s not very aquarium-practical.The curved scissors are what I originally needed, and a LIFESAVER. They let me get in close to the base of the plant without harming anything, or even needing to dip my other hand in to move the leaves around.The two tweezers have been SUPER helpful in replanting, retrieving leaves, and retrieving uneaten fish food. The angled one in particular ended up being amazing for manual removal of pest snails a month or two back.The double-ended spatula is actually one of my favorites! I have a sand substrate, so I need to stir it up often to make sure gas isn’t trapped. The small end of the spatula makes it infinitely easier, and when I do siphon cleanings or move things around, the large end makes it a breeze to re-smooth the sand. It’s also great for algae scraping (I use a glass tank, so I have to be gentle with it, but the corners/edges on these aren’t razor- or even knife-sharp, so if you work without being rough with it, you don’t get any scratches on your tank. Can’t say what the result would be with an acrylic tank, but I’d assume you’d want something gentler for that).Long story short, this is a purchase that is well-worth it. A great addition to any aquarium setup!

Very nice. I use this to clean my betta fish tank. I even feed him with the tweezers so he associates the tweezers with food. I decided to use the kit to train my fish instead of using it to clean.. in the end, I ended up finding a new use for the kit and made it more useful :) he used to not eat the floating pellets but gets very excited and hungry when he sees the tweezers. One con is that it is difficult to put the tools back into the bag, as the big triangle scraper is huge and ripped the bag. However besides that issue, the bag itself is sturdy and holds well and the tools are good.

Curved scissors work great and got some nice weight to them. Curved tweezers are decent and the groves are just right. The straight tweezers are just ok. Easy to over bend and loose grip. The scraper works fine. I would stil l dry these off after using because I suspect the quality of the metal. This was the cheapest set on Amazon and it still worked out great. The storage sleeve that they give you is useless though. To narrow to properly out stuff in and out easily.

I have thoroughly enjoyed using these aquarium tools every week when I clean my tank. There have been no problems with rusting even if I don’t wipe them down immediately. Most of the time I rinse them off and let them air dry. The scissors are sharp!

Perfect for aquascapes.

I expect that these will work perfectly once I get a chance to use them. They arrived promptly and in excellent condition. They seem a little short for reaching down to the bottom of the aquarium; but again, I haven't tried them yet. I think I just assumed that a few of them would be telescoping. All in all, I'm pleased with them and can't wait to put them to use.

Very easy to use! These are great tools for aquascaping an aquarium! I have used these tools many times and my fish didn’t seem to mind. I found that it was much less stressful for them than me using my hands. The bag isn’t a great size for the tools, so I do not use it. Overall a great product that I would definitely recommend to a friend.

For the safety of the fish and because the water is gross, we prefer to keep our hands out of the tank. I purchased the set when setting up my tank and didn't realize I would use it this much. We have a 10 gallon freshwater tank and use the scissors to trim the plant leaves. The spatula is great for moving the substrate and the tweezers for debris that is stuck in the rocks. Basically, the tools do a good job of what they are intended to do. We dry the tools after each use and they have not rusted.
