Direct replacement
Direct replacement. Unfortunately requires disassembling the whole bottom portion of the laptop to get it in. Other than that it is a perfect fit and works fine.

Good keyboard - not easy to install unless you know how to do these
The keyboard fit perfectly and zero issues so far. I have it a low rating on east to install because there are zero instructions and after searching for video’s on you tube I found that you need to take everything off - fan / motherboard, etc . Once I got over that it was a breeze

Great replacement keyboard, but experience needed to install.
This is a perfect replacement keyboard for the Toshiba Satellite Radius P55W-C5200X. I only gave 2 stars to the "Easy to install" category since the installation requires complete tear-down of the laptop (not the easiest or quickest of jobs, even for someone with experience at working on laptop computers). If you get this keyboard with the intention to "do it yourself", I would HIGHLY recommend that you only install it yourself if you have a lot of experience in working on laptops! Otherwise, you might want to find someone who does have the experience to install it for you. If you DO install it yourself, count on at least 1-2 hours for the installation.

Excelent Quality and Value - But NOT BACKLIT
I'm very happy with this purchase. It was so inexpensive I was concerned it may be low quality but it's better than the original that failed miserably. The keys on this one have a texture where the original was smooth; I like the texture better. I've only had it a short time but I hope it lasts much longer.UPDATE:Turns out it's not backlit after all and that's very disappointing.

Saved me Hundreds
Helped save my Toshiba Satellite Computer that Best Buy told me to throw out and by a new one. The keyboard does have to be installed correctly and to the right level of tightness or it won’t work. But if you get it installed correctly, you can save your expensive purchase for next to nothing!
