So i am wondering how can i prime the pump with water?** A: Did you try to draw water from a source (bucket or bottle) and pump freely into a sink or bucket or did you connect the output to a device? If the output is connected to a device, let it pump freely first. That self primed the pump for me. **Q: What is a diameter and length of the discharge tube?** A: I installed it in my son’s house so I don’t have it at my current location. It is the same diameter as the standard tube attached to the fridge ice making system (probably 1/4). I have the unit right near the fridge so was able to use the tube already attached to the fridge. I would say that it was at least 6 feet long. If more length was needed, I don’t see a problem adding more. Less length, of course, means possibly less future cleaning needed. **Q: I have hooked this up to my refrigerator water dispenser /ice maker are working. tshooting, i did find that i had to bleed line. pressure increase??** A: We had to bleed ours at least 5 times, it’s been working fine since. **Q: Where the cord plugs into the unit you see dc.
