First impressions leave questions, but nothing glaringly wrong...
We have not started the project we intend to use this for yet. As a result, I will review my initial impressions and update after use.Initial impressions:Immediately upon seeing this roll I almost laughed. I would have, in all likelihood, passed by it in a store. I knew the size and that it would be small and wondered if a pass was meant to mimic one or two thick planks or a handful of small ones, but seeing it in person was just humorous. As an answer to what I wondered... I have it in hand and still do not know the answer. I guess maybe one plank. Regarding the size- it is actually just over 12", rather than the shy of a foot advertised.I do not know about the adhesion yet, but I was a bit taken back by the thickness and surprised at the sturdiness. The vinyl itself is extremely thin, yet it manages to be rather firm and sturdy despite this. I imagine that it would work best on a hard, even surface that does not have give. (Think large single boards used for NEW subflooring or walls or counters as opposed to floorboards that are old and give under your feet.) I can see any give making the vinyl pull up from the floor in the many areas there would be creases, due to the thinness of the material. There is a texture, which would be helpful in preventing slips. The printing is nice and crisp for the most part, although how well it exactly resembles wood planks is still out for debate. I do not suppose I will know until I apply it. It does show up in the photo as a bit more convincing than in life. The color of the "wood' is a reddish brown with a slight orange tone.To be continued...

THIN AND WRINKLES EASILY
Very thin and wrinkles easily. I wouldn't recommend for flooring maybe better for lining drawers.

Came in handy.
I wasn’t sure this would be useful since it’s thin like contact paper, but more durable. It worked great to help spruce up a worn wood floor. It wasn’t an exact color or pattern match, but it doesn't stick out. The pattern is very attractive as well as the color. The tile stuck securely, and its not slippery. While the tile is thin, it is durable enough and feels like it will hold up. Lining up the cut pieces was easy despite its thinness. The cut pieces blended in well with each other. I repaired the floor with wood filler, then layered this tile on top. It stuck properly, and the flexibility allowed it mold effectively to the uneven wood. It was easy enough to cut to size using the line grid on the back for guidance, but the lines aren't a continuous pattern in some segments, nor the same dimensions, so I had to draw additional lines to achieve the cut I desired.

Realistic design, easy to work with
The wood design on this flooring is really nice, very realistic compared to some others I have seen. It has a nice grain texture look with a good mix of colors, the product itself is smooth without texture. The material is very nice to work with and easy to adhere to the surface you are placing it on, I think over time it may start to peel back as the adhesive is not very strong. I'm concerned with how his will last with heavy use, the vinyl is very thin which is great for working to fill tight spaces and flexibility but not makes me think it will wear down quickly. Being so lightweight this would be perfect for backsplash and wall coverings.
