World Map Wall Art Sticker, Modern Room Decor, Removable Vinyl Decal

I had a bit of a rocky start with this as the order said it was delivered but I couldn’t find it. The seller was able to send a picture of the package and where it was delivered and that helped me to find it. The map itself is fab for the purpose which in my case was to decorate a ceiling lamp. There were quite the lot of bubbles (probably my fault) and in some bits I accidentally tore up the sticker. I did like that it had two cover sides which made it easier to align the image and remove the final cover. Still loving the end result so going with 5 stars but as improvement I’d suggest slightly less strong adhesive on the sticker itself and Hermes could leave a delivery note in the mailbox.

At first I was a little nervous of applying this successfully to the wall but having watched a couple of YouTube videos the “centre hinge” method worked a treat. The trick is to tape to the wall first and pencil mark the corners, then scrape the card over and take your time when peeling off the backing layer and application layer. We were worried about a few creases formed in the backing layer when scraping but these did not transfer to the decal which is perfectly smooth and easy to work out the small number of air bubbles. Would highly recommend Pencilmatic as we are really pleased with the result.

We followed instructions included for application and were initially very pleased with how the product looked on the wall. Unfortunately we returned downstairs in the morning to find it peeling off the wall. We tried resticking but it subsequently fell off the wall over the course of the day.When I contacted the seller they responded saying that the fault must have been ours (we followed instructions and so I’m not convinced this is the case). They offered us a replacement but having read other reviews it would seem we aren’t the only people who have had this problem. We therefore opted for a refund but the seller would only pay 70% of the full cost. All in all I would not recommend.

Great product and fits the area really well

Really tricky! You really have to be switched on to get this on without mishap. I bought. A massive one and have managed it. Watch a YouTube video or ten first!

Helpful communication, as applying first time, link to yt video instructions was extremely useful.It takes more time and carefulness than expected in case of poor quality of wall paints (walls of our rented apartments are painted with textured and probably cheapest chalked paints). Sticker wasn't fully remaining on the wall while removing transparent layer, so required additional smoothing on to the wall surface.After applying adhesion is good and finally it looks as painted :) Exceed expectations!

I love it it looks amazing, but I did have to PVA as it wasn’t very sticky
