I wish Sodastream would come up with better packaging that can handle going through the mail. Several of my orders have leaked, and the USPS had to rebag. When I open up the package the label/seal is still intact so liquid is getting past the cap. I guess they're trying to save the planet or something by going with poor materials and "clever" design, but I'd like to actually get all of the product I'm paying for.

We like the product but it had leaked during shipping so it was a sticky mess. Didn’t like that so much. I’ll give that a thumbs down!!!

The package arrives damp and sticky. This is the 2nd order that has arrived this way. the plastic seal is intact but some how it leaks. The product itself is good!! I suggest you improve your packaging.Thanks

Yes, it is true that it arrives moist and bottle has to be washed, but it is nothing compared to how good this stuff is. Better than any comparable by miles.

I'm a big fan of diet lemon-lime soft drinks. My main reason for buying a SodaStream machine was to cut down on the amount of plastic bottles I was dragging home from the grocery store. Most grocery stores close to me would only stock a small number of bottles, so I was never certain I'd be able to stock up.Enter this product. I thought this would be a great way to save some time and reduce my trash creation.The container is a great design. It's small enough to be easy to handle. The lid, like all standard SodaStream syrup containers is an inverted measuring cup designed to make it easy to portion out just the right amount of syrup.Unfortunately, there is a nasty burnt aftertaste from this product. I'm familiar with all of the major brands of diet lemon-lime soft drinks and none of them have this nasty taste. On that standard alone I won't be buying it again.At the same time, the price is unreasonable. I can typically buy diet lemon-lime soft drinks in my local grocery stores for about $1/liter. This here cost about $25 to make a total of 18 liters with my SodaStream machine. And that's before the costs of water, filters, and CO2. That makes the whole proposition economically a poor choice.
