Great Step Stool
Bought this product for my 1st grandson two years ago. He will turn 4 soon. Still using it. Very sturdy. Liked it so much that I purchased a second one last October for my 2 year old grandson. After a few months had a problem with one of it's little feet. I called Amazon, they contacted the vendor. The vendor immediately responded and within a few days a replacement was shipped. Recommend this foot stool to anyone that is looking for one. The 2 side panels makes it safe for a child not to fall and also helps the child pull themselves up. The step support panel makes it easy for a child to step up on it's own and hold on to the side panels. Highly recommend this vendor to anyone.

STURDY AMD AFFORDABLE
Very sturdy and pretty easy to assemble—it took me about 10 mins. The instructions were clear and parts were labeled making it easy to avoid any mistakes or confusion. Very affordable compared to other similar toddler learning towers/step stools. Wish it had some kind of backing to prevent backwards falls, but a bungee cord should work like other reviewers have suggested.

Sturdy enough for a toddler, not so much an adult.
This stool is awesome for my toddler. She loves to push it wherever she wants to go and stand at the counter. However, the finish does chip fairly easily which is probably to be expected for something like this. My bigger issue is that the bottom step cracked and became useless very quickly. I made the mistake of stepping on it myself to reach something (I weigh about 120lbs) and I heard it crack. Oops, talk about a blow to your ego. Then my 7 year old (who weighs about 45lbs) stepped on it and it just completely cracked and fell apart. I would say this is definitely sturdy enough for a toddler but I wouldn't recommend a larger child or a small adult use it at all. It's particle board, I should've considered that before I was stupid enough to step on it but lesson learned.

Child tested, mother approved
This is just what we needed for our kitchen so our toddler could watch and assist with cooking/baking etc. I put it together with the assistance of my 2 year old (who handed me the wooden pegs and screws). It was pretty straightforward and it is a very sturdy item. I wish the openings on either side (the parts that make up the "railings" were smaller or were solid... they are just large enough that my toddler can climb through the sides and he has gotten stuck and/or hurt himself more than once, so we are extra vigilant when he is playing near it.

Cost Effective AND Toddler Approved
My toddler loves to help in the kitchen and wants to be in the midst of the action at all times. We had been debating what kitchen helper to get her for her birthday and this fit the Bill (affordable, study, and will grow with her). Easy to assemble for sure- the only thing that would make it better would be some sort of support/closure for the back so an excited toddler doesn’t fall backwards. We’re considering adding bungee cords to the back for this purpose.

A little bit messy
The step is nice and useful but the quality is not great, every time my granddaughter gets on it the black “slip resistant” mat falls apart and leaves little black pieces all over the floor

Very happy with my purchase.
2 1/2 year old grandbaby loves it! This is the first place she goes when she gets to my house. We usually have snacks and coloring books ready on the counter. She helps "cook" and hangs out in the kitchen with us. It doesn't collapse or store away but I don't mind. I can stick it in the garage when it's not being used. The step is sturdy and well made. I wouldn't recommend for children under 2 unless someone is right there next to them the whole time. We may have to replace the non skid step cover at some point because it's thin and we've had some paint chip off from rubbing on the counter. If that would bother you, better get one with no paint. ***Also, use a hair dryer on the many stickers before you try to peel them off or you might lose some paint as well. I searched forever before I purchased one of these and am very happy with this choice.

We are so so so happy with this product! My 2 year old ate her breakfast (that she helped make using this) while still standing on it. She did not want to go sit at the table. She loves feeling like she can help out with chores. It was relatively easy to put together. The parts all look so similar you gave to pay attention to size and what not. Overall, we are very happy with this purchase!
