I recently underwent a double mastectomy with reconstruction after being diagnosed with breast cancer. This pillow was truly essential post-operatively. There’s no smell, the cover is soft velour, the pillow is firm but not hard. It expanded to full size when removed from the vacuum sealed package it was delivered in. I put it out in the sun a few days before my actual surgery so that it’d be ready. I have had good restful nights with its use and during the day I use it on the couch to prop myself up. You can adjust each component to your actual need/placement. Can’t say enough wonderful things about this product. Must have if having chest wall/breast surgery especially since they require you sleep in certain positions due to drain/implant placement. It’s worth the money.

If you’re getting ready for an abdominal surgery, you NEED this wedge! I was on the fence about it and wasn’t sure it was necessary, but ordered it last minute anyway. I recommend it 100000%!! Don’t get a silly star-shaped pillow 😅 Buy this instead. I had a total laparoscopic hysterectomy where they removed everything, including ovaries. I was feeling so numb and drugged up at the hospital that I thought for sure I could sleep in bed that night. Wrong! I’m so glad I thought ahead and stuck this on our couch, which also has an ottoman. I turned it into my own little recovery bed for the first 4 days. I removed the back cushion and pushed the wedge all the way to the back (that way my butt wasn’t in the crack between the ottoman) and used the big couch cushion as a pillow under my knees. My back was perfectly supported and my belly was comfy. I like it because it’s firm, yet really soft. I have chronic neck pain & stiffness, but haven’t had any issues. For the first week or two I had it in the tallest position (like it came), and tried it lower a few times; just flip the small cushion forward to change it! It’s all attached which is cool. The neck pillow(s) can be moved up or down with Velcro. Now that I’m 6 weeks into recovery I use it mainly to rest against when sitting in bed. Been using my regular pillow to sleep on since week 3. I got the extra pillow (4-pc), and am happy to have it. Feels really good on my low back. Now I use the extra lumbar pillow under my knees in bed. UPDATE: I think this will be a permanent fixture in bed guys. 😅 My neck pain hasn’t been an issue in *6 weeks!* now I use my regular pillow, but it feels great to use the wedge to rest on. I have arthritis/spondylitis and other autoimmune issues. It’s been a game changer. Please splurge and buy this! 👌🏼

I really wanted to like this pillow but it just hasn't worked for me. I have tried using this a hundred different ways and with other pillows to get what I need and it just misses all the marks. I bought this in my first trimester of pregnancy to help keep me propped up when I was having alot of nausea. Now here I am 30 weeks pregnant with twins desperately seeking comfortable sleep and never get it with this pillow. I think the incline is too low and just does not enough support anywhere. The overall material that covers the pillow is super soft but the velcro used on this item is the absolute WORST. The velcro is so hard and scratchy and me daughter and I have received painful abrasions on our face, arms and legs from using it. Why anyone would would use this hard scratchy velcro on a pillow meant for comfort is beyond me. I've seriously considered cutting the velcro off but then I'd just have big holes. So in summary, every time I attempt to use this thing hoping the next time will be different and provide some comfort, it doesn't and I just end up throwing it off the bed and resorting to 10 different squishmallow pillows stuffed all around me. It's a pass from me on this one!

I love this for sitting up in bed. However, it’s really hard to find an angle that is right for laying on your side. Everything is just a little too steep for my hips and low back. Also the Velcro sticks to the pillow fabric and immediately rips it apart and creates runs. I’ve owned pantyhose more durable than this. I probably wouldn’t repurchase this exact product, I’d look for something different. And the neck supports are kind of large. Instead of supporting they just kind of shove my head forward. They make decent lumbar support though.

Super Belfort after surgery. Love this

I love this pillow. I bought it at the end of pregnancy because I was put on bedrest and it has made my bed a place I can rest in complete comfort despite being uncomfortably pregnant. The angle of the wedge makes two positions that are perfect for me. Upright for sitting there with my breakfast tray in front of me to eat, then flipped around to recline after I'm done eating. I just put another pillow under my knees and I can lay there all day. Bedrest would have been torture without this pillow. The only thing bad I have to say about it is that the velcro used to attach the little head bolster snags the fabric cover on the pillow and it caused a hole the first day I had it. But let's be honest here. People shopping for this thing are not trying to redecorate the bedroom. They're trying to be comfortable in bed and this pillow delivers that. Especially considering the price of some of the others this is the obvious choice.

Even after washing the cover (and it ripping part of the foam getting it off), the foam had a chemical smell to it that still penetrates though and made all my bedding smell awful. I couldn’t even sleep on it because it was causing me a headache. A waste of $100+. Nothing I do is getting the smell out, even airing it for a few days didn’t help.

Es bastante cómodo y práctico que se ajusta, según las necesidades. Se ve bultos, pero viene en un práctico rollo pequeño sellado al vacío. Al verlo pensé que se habían equivocado de producto, la sorpresa al abrí, es que se desenrolla en automático con el aire. Qué ingenio!
