Do not buy. Model AND replacement filters have been discontinued. I have to throw this in the trash now. Waste of 600$. I've had this for two years. It works great, I notice the difference when not using it. It's an expensive unit with super expensive filters. Honeywell has discontinued this model for reasons unknown. The filters are fancy and expensive and I expect this has driven sales down too low for this to be profitable for them, especially with the heavy competition in the market. Either way a waste of a good unit now heading to landfill for no reason.Update Nov 2023: filters occasionally pop up on a Honeywell direct site so I've managed to limp this along. It's run for a couple years 24x7. it's a solid design. If you feel confident you can keep a filter supply it's a great unit but I've had good experiences with others like medify.

This unit is placed in a large room with a high vaulted ceiling. I was concerned that the volume of the room would bee too much for this to handle. So far, however, the unit is excellent. The effect was noticeable in just a few days as we are in a time period with daily air quality warnings due to high pollen counts. Typically, even with windows closed tightly, there would be pollen throughout the room. To date, the pollen is dramatically decreased on solid surfaces. The unit is quiet - no one notices that it is running. It was easy to set up. Operating instructions were easy to understand.

You often hear 'you get what you pay for'. In this space it's true. Lots of low quality rigs with not great HEPA filters. This thing senses bad air and goes to town. it works great and our interior air is clearly much better. We don't see layers of dust and cooking odors are significantly reduced - depending on the dish. ;-) Pro Tip: If you live in the west and it's fire season, buy the replacement filters ahead of time. They are rated for a year in normal use but won't last more than a few months in level of air quality we had out we had in the Pacific Northwest last year from wildfires.

I brought this unit about a year ago, so in terms of lifespan, it is relatively new and worked well. Until I went to buy new filters. Best I can tell they have been discontinued, and they are no longer making the filters. A TOTAL RIP OFF - AMAZON SHOULD GO AFTER THE MANUFACTURER. WHAT GOOD IS A AIR CLEANER YOU CAN NOT GET FILTERS FOR?

Works great. Is very loud on higher settings. Easy to use. Has a dimmer to turn the lights off for almost all modes, that being said if you put it on sleep there is no way to turn the lights off completely which is annoying when you have light sensitivities when trying to sleep.

I purchased two Honeywell HPA600B Professional Series air purifiers in June 2021. The replacement air filters (HRF-Z2) are non-existent. I contacted Honeywell numerous times by email and calling the customer service line. They claim this item is not discontinued. But, they cannot provide the name of an authorized retailer that is actively selling the replacement filters. Despite, telling me they are available. The Honeywell Store site has not carried the replacement filters either. Conclusion: I spent over a grand on high-end air purifiers that is no-longer supported by the manufacturer. Consumers beware.

excellent air purifier, easy to use and easy to install the two HEPA filters. I use it at work to kill virus and bacteria. Due to COVID19 I feel safer at work by using this purifier. Noise is good i think its because i always put it on high so the fan is always running non stop. I strongly recommend this product to all that have a small business or just want it for their home .

Prior to purchasing an additional air purifier, we had the Honeywell HPA300 which we loved. This season we had wildfire smoke, so we purchased this new professional series version as an additional unit because it was the only one in stock made by Honeywell. This one is awesome. Yes the replacement filters are more expensive, but it does take care of larger rooms (and it really looks modern). It really is quiet and to us it also acts like a white noise machine and over all air circulator. We loved this one so much we bought a second HPA600B for another room.
