From the creators of the IIHS Best Bet KidFit and GoFit boosters, the Chicco GoFit Plus Backless Booster with LATCH is designed for the comfort of big kids and the convenience of parents. The GoFit Plus is equipped with LATCH to stabilize the seat while the child gets in and out and also keeps it in place when not occupied. An innovative quick-release design means you can remove with one hand by pulling the release lever, which together with a built-in handle ensures gripping convenience when changing vehicles. A contoured ErgoBoost seat and double foam padding provide support in the right places. Integrated hip belt guides and a shoulder strap clip help position the vehicle's seat belt for proper use. Two CupFolders bend and fold out of the way to save space and are easy to remove and also dishwasher safe. And all fabrics are also removable and machine washable, including the armrest covers. Review: No complaints. Definitely recommend - This thing has been great for my son, it’s easy to connect if you want to, not necessary though if you don’t want. It is easy to disconnect and move when not in use as well. My son grew out of his other one and this helped bridge the gap until he was big enough to not need it. He’s at the size now where he doesn’t need it but he still sometimes wants to use it because it has the cup holders and he likes having that and it makes him taller. It’s well made and kept him safe and secure.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the difference between this “plus” and the non-plus model?**
A: I'm pretty sure that the non-plus model just sits on the vehicle seat, there's no way to attach it to the car. The plus model uses LATCH to attach to the vehicle. On the earlier model, the booster can slide around when the child gets in and out, and it must be secured to the seat using the lap-shoulder belt when the child isn't sitting in it, to prevent it from freely moving around while driving.

**Q: Does the quick release latch in the front get in the way of the child's legs? Does the plastic part front & center get uncomfortable?**
A: It's not uncomfortable -- it's way down and in the front of the seat, similar to other Chicco seats. Doesn't interfere with seating comfort at all.

**Q: Is this booster all black? What is iron?**
A: The Iron fashion offers black matte vegan leather tops on the armrests for comfortable, wipeable convenience.  The black knit is accented with a silver metallic fleck to complete this stylish ensemble.

**Q: Can you use this booster in a car that doesn’t have a latch?**
A: This seat, as with all booster seats simply positions the child. The work is done by the vehicle's seatbelt. The latch feature of this car seat is primarily used to secure the car seat when there is NO passenger in the seat, although it obviously holds the seat steady whether there's a child in the seat or not.
