When the tariff priced coffee per 8oz is now prices above $17+ means that a pound of this coffee is over $33. It is just ridiculous. So in a search to find a reasonably priced blend for desertcart shoppers that doesn’t have the excess greed attached to it, I have tried brand after brand and discovered the shade grown espresso blend at Trader Joe’s. It is $10 a pound. The flavor profile is very close to illy forte. It costs about five dollars for the 8 ounces illy charges for $17+. When this illy coffee was priced at $11 a can that was already $22 a pound but as a luxury purchase I could justify it for my business.
