Illy truly is the best coffee I’ve ever had. I’ve been buying the Intenso for a while and absolutely love it, but this time I decided to try the Forte Roast. Once again, Illy did not disappoint. It makes an amazing cup of coffee with a rich, bold flavor and that smooth, quality taste I’ve come to expect from Illy. I’m a big fan of dark roasts, and Illy consistently delivers exactly what I’m looking for. Whether I’m enjoying a cup first thing in the morning or taking a little time to savor it later in the day, it always feels like a special cup of coffee. I’ve tried plenty of different brands, but I keep coming back to Illy because the quality and flavor are just hard to beat. At this point, I’m definitely a customer for life. I’ll keep trying the different dark roast options, but I have a feeling I’ll be sticking with Illy for a very long time!

Great coffee brew. But I wish Amazon had better packaging (box instead of envelope). The metal was badly dented.

This is a wonderful espresso blend and grind. The flavor is exceptional. The problem is the cost. Amazon and illy continue to raise the price on this through tariffs found to be illegal. When the tariff priced coffee per 8oz is now prices above $17+ means that a pound of this coffee is over $33. It is just ridiculous. So in a search to find a reasonably priced blend for Amazon shoppers that doesn’t have the excess greed attached to it, I have tried brand after brand and discovered the shade grown espresso blend at Trader Joe’s. It is $10 a pound. The flavor profile is very close to illy forte. It costs about five dollars for the 8 ounces illy charges for $17+. When this illy coffee was priced at $11 a can that was already $22 a pound but as a luxury purchase I could justify it for my business. But for $34 for one pound of this coffee it is bordering on criminal.

This coffee taste is not as good as compared to other brands who are selling at much lesser price.

Ahh yum. For decades, I ignored this "canned stuff" in favor of grinding my own. Then back surgery laid me up to where I had to minimize movement save for PT. Ordered this out of desperation to bridge the time to when I could get back to grinding my own beans. This is good quality. Rich, dark and certainly not cloyng in the aftertaste. It's vacuum pack is strong, though, so you need a care in opening the cannister.
