Gradually over a week increase drops to 8 drops per 8 oz. of water. The reason for starting with fewer drops is that it can give you a headache just from the infusion of oxygen it gives. The bottle says to take 3 times per day. I find that twice a day works well for me, early morning and early afternoon. If you don't use pure water then the Cell Food will do it's work on the water vs. it's work in you, that's why purified water if recommended. I've been using it for about 3 years and won't be without it. Gives me great energy and helps me sleep better. So, 35 to 45 days is about right. The best buy for this is on Amazon when you purchase 3 bottles. Main thing is just check around on the Amazon site. You need to stay with it through the 3 bottles to get the benefit, I feel. I don't have a condition that needs "repair" but I do also agree that once you start and stay with it, you will want to continue. I read the huge number of reviews on the lumina website (http://www.luminahealth.com).
