24/7 mode is a good feature but it has a limitation. It automatically configures the light to be on for 15 hours per day at 100% intensity. The problem is that it can’t be adjusted to any different setting while operating in this mode. In addition, the instructions aren’t very clear for setting up the 24/7 mode. So I’ve been using the DIY mode instead since I wanted 12 hours per day at 75% intensity instead and setup is more straightforward. Other than this limitation it works great so far and I really like the thin sleek design. Hopefully it keeps working a long time. UPDATE: After about six months the light started malfunctioning. It would start flashing on and off intermittently after being turned on for a few hours. I was thinking that the issue might be heat or power related since it wouldn’t occur if the light intensity was reduced. However, after a few weeks even reducing light intensity didn’t help. I tried replacing the AC power adapter with an equivalent one but that didn’t resolve things. So I’ve since replaced the whole light fixture with a similar one but different brand.

First I'M SO GLAD I WENT WITH 24-36 INCHES ONE for my 20 gallon tank that's 24 inches wide. They had smaller that fits up to 24 inches ( side legs extend but then you don't get full light coverage). I saw review to get the next size up and ligh is for the whole 24 inches coverage. Still figuring out settings but all lights great colors and different shades of each color. Fits perfectly looks amazing. Great buy!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The price is better than others brand and offer the same setting I need. Build quality: Building quality seems ok for now. Don't know how long it will last. Ease of installation: Very easy set up the 24/7 mode.
