Great tool
Idk how I've been a guitar player without one of these! Goodbye annoying single coil hum!,I wish it would cancel hum while I was playing though, idk if that's a thing or not.

Great Delay Pedal
This pedal sounds great and was reasonably priced. It's compact and well built. The controls allow for a bunch of delay tones and they're easy to use. A great buy!

Good for some playing styles
This review is for the RVONE Noise Killer, a budget friendly entry level noise gate pedal.Guitar rigs can be noisy. You can get 60Hz hum from single coil pickups. Even humbucking pickups can be victims of noise caused by EMI (elecromagnetic interference). Add some distortion pedals, other effects pedals, and cranked up amps and the noise can be amplified to annoying levels. The old school way of dealing with noise that one was otherwise unable to address in other ways was to turn down the volume knob on the guitar when not playing. However, there are some playing styles where that is not practical. A noise gate is effectively like an automated volume knob. When the input signal drops below a set level, the gate starts closing, turning the volume down. it's a tradeoff and can be challenging to find a satisfactory balance between sustain and noise reduction. It's great for playing syncopated metal rhythms where having a quick gate between chords is useful but maybe not as great if you like long sustaining lead lines in which case you should probably put more work into addressing the noise at its source. Such is the life of an electric guitarist. This pedal is labeled K T N which I assume stands for Kill The Noise. The circuit is housed in a mini metal enclosure finished in white with dark gray lettering and graphics. The corners and sides of the enclosure are beveled which gives the pedal a more distinctive look. Overall, it's a nice looking pedal. The input and power jacks feel solid enough as do the footswitch and Threshold pot and knob. Completing the look is a blue LED to let you know when the pedal is engaged. The pedal is powered via a 9V center negative power adapter or supply (not included). This is a simple noise gate with only a single knob for setting the threshold. Turn the knob clockwise to increase the level at which the gate kicks in and counterclockwise to decrease it. There's no knob for setting how fast the gate fades the signal out, how quickly you want that virtual volume knob turned. On this pedal, it's pretty fast, cutting the signal almost immediately rather than gradually fading it out which is okay for some uses but not others. There are other noise gate pedals with additional knobs for more extensive customization of gate parameters but they come with a higher price tag.I noticed no tonal degradation with the pedal in bypass and had no concerns about the tone when engaged. It's single threshold knob and quick gating should work okay in situations where heavy gating is required (e.g. high gain chugging metal rhythms) but not as well in situations where more subtlety and control is required (e.g. dynamic lead playing).

Nice start for beginners
I got this because I wanted to sound like how I hear other guitarists sound. First thought was it was smaller than I thought. I gave it to the guitar player at the church for him to test it to really tell me what he thinks and his response was “cool you’re on my way to building your pedal board”.The only reason I didn’t give it 5 starts is because it doesn’t come with a power cord and it’s not battery operated.

It really works, nice punk sound
The media could not be loaded. Very nice distortion pedal. If you’re into that nice punk or punk pop sound it will work out nicely (think Green Day or Blink 182). It feels pretty sturdy and the sound is good. It really checks all the boxes, specially considering the price.

Very disappointing compression pedal!
The pedal barely compresses at all! I regret buying this, its useless to me! I gave it 1 star just because you can use it as a clean boost. Maybe I got a faulty one.
