Columbia Men's Transverse Hike Waterproof Boot

I have been looking for a waterproof hiking shoe for an upcoming trip. I also wanted that shoe to be good enough to walk on snow and ice in winter. Definitely, Columbia was my first choice. However, finding one within budget wasn't easy. In a discount, it cost me $60. Before this, I tried a few more shoes and returned all after finding this one. I usually wear a size 9.5, but for this one, a size 9 was a better fit. It was surprisingly lightweight and comfortable. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm pretty sure from the look and feel that it's waterproof. The shoe also looks amazing.

I usually wear a regular 12 in boots but needed to get wide size for these, so I would say they run narrow in the toe box for a boot. That being said I liked the feel of them and immediately ordered the wide. I have been wearing my work boots on hikes and they are super sturdy, comfy, waterproof...but too heavy for long hikes. For how solid these feel they are extremely light. Good traction on wet surfaces. The heel design doesn't stick out but has a nice rocker to it and makes for a smooth, quiet step. So far very good, I'll update once I have a chance to walk through a few streams

My grandson works at a car wash and his fit are always getting wet. These are great he can stand in them all day and his feet stay dry. I am the best Grammy ever! True to size

This shoe has great comfort and offers a lot of flexibility. I wore it to work on a farm for 8 hours and i felt like i was wearing comfy sneakers

These are real nice. Good support for my ankles. I thought the insoles are kinda thin, replaced with memory foam and now they're lots more comfortable. I use them for my morning walks around the neighborhood, can't wait to take them on a real hike. A good value for the money, not too heavy and good traction.

These boots provide the support I need for my ankles on my walks and working in the yard. They appear durable as well.
