May be good for some poeple, but not me.
Being over 65 I was looking for a lower dose than the usual 5000iu. I had high hopes for this, but stomach distress occurred within 15 to 20 minutes of each dose. This happened even when taken at meal time. After three back to back identical experiences I skipped a day and tried again with the exact same pains as an outcome. This supplement may work fine for some, but not me. After some research I found the company that made the 5000iu dose that I had taken for a year without any problems also made a 1000iu dose so I ordered that. As with the higher dose it caused no stomach issues. The only difference I can see is that these are in a tablet form and the ones I’m taking now are some kind of gel-cap. I have no other explanation why one would cause sharp stabbing pains and the other doesn’t. Everybody’s body isn’t the same, one size doesn’t fit all.
