The inside juice is definitely an Old School Classy scent. Strong with Great Longevity ... the Package and Bottle are Cheap and Horrendous. Definitely Decanting is necessary.

Back in the 80s, before Calvin Klein became part of the mainstream and started outsourcing everything to provide lower quality at a higher price, before the days of the sickly sweet CK One and when Obsession had a distinct smell, even before Eternity (I believe), Calvin Klein had a great brisk scent that came in a black bottle called - Calvin. When I first sprayed Vermeil, that was the first thought which came to mind, Calvin. As it drys down which happens relatively fast, it quickly loses that initial note. It drys down to another fragrance from back in the day called Insignia. It's really not bad and, it does not smell like an Abercombie store like 90 percent of the other fragrances out there today. Besides, for the price, if you don't like it on you, you can use it as an air/closet refresher.

this cologne i smelled on a friend about 10 yrs ago and i love on him, but now since is been i while i bought it for me but i dint like it at all, i gave it to a friend of mine.

It smells good in the bottle but it doesn’t spray, so i wouldn’t buy it again.
